But Obi built LG secretariat in all the remaining LGs. Onitsha North LG headquarters was behind Ado girls, he moved it insisting that the original onitsha plan had a mini stadium there. He moved them, built a new secretariat for them at the appropriate place and built a township stadium there. He rehabilitated Onitsha general hospital as well as all general hospitals in Anambra including the one in my village. Then upgraded 3 of them, one in each senatorial zone and accredited them for internship, housemanship. What he did in educational sector remains unseconded. His templates were MDG and ANIDS. But most importantly, he slashed cost of governance, brought the government to the door step of the residents. And raised the standard of governance in Anambra and this is why Obiano, despite his landmark achievements beyond his mates in neighbouring States, was still seen as a failure by the Anambrarians.
