  • Natural Peanut butter is supposed to be better for you. Natural ingredients, no artificial stuff or palm/soy oil. But is it going to be creamy good like Jif? The challenge has begun!

Lol, you didn't stir the natural peanut butter correctly. I'm sure by now you probably already know...but just in case you don't. You need to stir it from the bottom of the jar to pick up all the peanut butter, that's what will thicken it. Using a spoon works great because you can better scoop up everything and stirs better than a knife.

No offense motif, but when it comes to natural pb, I'm done stirring. I flipped it over overnight, stirred it every which way but loose lol. It still is what it is. Tastes good for smoothies, lousy for PB and J. Thanks for watching and always love the feedback!

I buy it what you do is you turn the Smuckers upside down in the cupboard all night you wake up open it right side up stir it a little more and it will get a little creamier

Hey tried it today after it was upside down for a few weeks. Consistency was good enough to spread on my bread. Seems like it has to be done each time because as I tried to stir it again it got super loose again. Thanks for the tip!!!

@@wonStarReviews Refrigerating the peanut butter helps prevent the oil from separating after stirring it. It also thickens after being refrigerated for awhile. Just had my first jar of real peanut butter, Laura Scudder, and it was very oily. I mixed it and it was still liquidy until after refrigerating a few days when it thickened. It didn't taste great at first, but it tasted much better almost halfway into the jar. I got the smooth and it has some little bits of peanuts in it which give it a good texture.

@@candysell good to know. I almost finished the jar, mostly using it for smoothies. It was too big of a hastle just for natural peanut butter.

You really didn’t mix the oil in enough at all. If you mix the smuckers with a lot of force it would actually get thicker. Try it again bro.

Natural peanut butter is tasty but we (I) have become accustomed to not having to stir it, just dig in and go. Stirring is tiresome 😅 plus we (I) don't want loose peanut butter on my saltine crackers.

I guess I must have some atypical taste buds for this comment section, because I absolutely love the taste of Smuckers peanut butter.😋 The hydrogenated, sugared peanut butters just lack enough actual 'peanutty' flavor for my preference. I'd probably like them better if they cut down on the amount of added sugar. One thing I'll note here is that I really didn't care much for peanut butter growing up as a kid. It wasn't until my late 20's that I began getting hooked on natural style peanut butters. Actually TOO hooked! It's a craving that I'm often challenged to resist. As far as consistency, it's already been mentioned in the comments, turn the jar upside down in the fridge. Also, I find it better to stir with a spoon.🥜 ✌

🛑 Natural Peanut 🥜 Butter Has to Be STIRRED WELL - Grab a butter Knife PUSHING IT ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM - (NOT PLASTIC - it Will Break).
🛑DO NOT FOLLOW WHAT HE DID he didn't mix this JAR at all.
    I usually buy Sam's natural peanut butter or Laura's Scudder's that's it 💞.
I grew up having to eat those other Processed ones.

Unfair test. Smuckers has to be totally mixed….. From the bottom up. Store one day upside down. Then open and mix it from the bottom. Your review here is not fair nor is it correct.

So I get that the consistency isn’t the same, but does it taste similar to Jif Naturals?? J.M. Snickers is the manufacturer of both these peanut butters.

Not sure about naturals. Is it super runny like this? If so I would imagine the taste is similar

  • @csjytview
    @csjytview 3 роки тому +2

Maybe the Smuckers approach because it's Natural and most likely has no preservatives, you should Refrigerate this and it would be thicker as you spread this on your bread. One question though, how many people like Cold Peanut Butter on Buttered Warm toast? Thank you for your review.

Used the smuckers for the first time today. I could NOT get it all stirred up! It definitely isn't as sweet as there is no added sugar or sweeteners like molasses. We make a thing called peanut butter playdough, it's a semi healthy snack of dry milk, peanut butter, and honey. The kids love it, I did too as a kid (still do, who am I kidding?). Anyways, I usually use half a jar of JIF and I have a great consistency of "playdough" the kids can roll into balls then eat. I usually just mix it up in a container. I could not get the Smuckers to mix in well, I had to use my stand mixer to mix it! And the consistency still isn't right, and it's not as sweet. Definitely needs more honey than normal. I won't probably be buying the Smuckers again as my family of 8 are creatures of habit.

I enjoy watching! I noticed that you stirred it, but not to sound rude but you need to stir for about 5-10 minutes and all the way to the bottom of the jar. It should've been a lot thicker. If you put it in the fridge it won't separate.

@Some Guy understood but I don't think it would get to a jif-like consistency no matter how long I stirred it. If it's 5 minutes of elbow grease, then it's not worth it. I'd be finished eating by then😀 thanks for watching!!!

It usually has oil on top for the first time stir it well to the bottom it gets thick and the next time I use it takes very little stirring and it has a very good flavor. It is what it says it is Natural without the terrible ingredients for your Health look up on UA-cam Wich one is healthier for you. Hands down Smuckers. Hope this helps you better than this terrible Video😊
