When I was a school age girl I paid a lot of attention to song lyrics. Along the way as an adult I lost that habit and for a long time music did not move me the same way. BTS got me to once again focus and reflect on lyrics and really feel each song. Your song is beautiful. The line about your parents’ wrinkles made me tear up. Best wishes to you.

Jhope's rap verse in outro tear is one of the best... especially the end one..he goes insane honestly
j-hope's performance definitely stands out. He's the best performer I've ever seen. And he's the Performance Leader of BTS so I think he plays a huge part in the overall stage quality of the group. From Day 1, BTS stood apart from their peers because of the quality and SINCERITY of their live stages. They're just different. You can tell they all really love what they do, who they do it with, and who they do it for. They're a pleasure to watch.

랩라 무대는 대중에게 알려진 방탄의 느낌이랑은 다른데, 오히려 OG 팬들에게는 그게 오리지널이란 느낌이 더 있으니 찾아보시면 정말 엄청난 매력을 느끼실 거라고 장담합니당!

Second, staying within the actual "context" of this gentleman's video he was focused on JHope (whom he said he loved), live performances, big stages and rap...JHope and Suga are the only two members that have had huge solo stage performances recently with 10s of thousands of people. This is the problem with comment warriors, who seek trouble..."Active Listening" to the reactor is the key. If RM had done a solo concert, I would have recommended it as well because as a Real ARMY, I know without a doubt he would have smashed it too. There is no reason to jump to conclusions and start cursing people.

May I add a small bragging point about this stage? Their black tour costumes were custom Dior. It was the *1st* time the label designed for a musical group. The Creative Director of Dior Homme at the time, Kim Jones, is one of the most innovative designers in the world. According to Wikipedia, he and his collaborators "incorporated Dior's iconic feminine, floral designs with industrial-like harnesses and chain". Isn't that perfect for them? If you are at all interested in that aspect of stage design, a search for the awesome concept sketch is worth the effort. 😊

No wonder why they are this good. Yoongi and Namjoon were rappers since they were teenagers, and belong to the rap underground SK scene . There are recordings of Namjoon when He was 14 years old. They are not like another "rappers" of kpop groups that a ceo give you that role in a kpop group. To be a rapper you have to be a part of a rap scene, and write your own raps, like Namjoon and Yoongi. Rap is not only speaking fast is having flow and they have it. And Hobi is an excepcional case, He belongs to the hip hop scene, because he danced on the streets, and He listened to rap since he was young. But He learned to rap once He began to be a trainee for BTS and man, He kills it. One of the best!

And you probably know this but since you didn't mention it in the video, (this is a simplified version) Outro:Tear was written by SUGA when BTS was considering disbanding. RM and J-Hope wrote their own verses but it was made with a lot of tears in the studio.
Also, they're wearing custom Dior and this Dior Hobi is an icon.

@@norito_tv BTS rappers are real rappers..not "idol rappers"..they write and produce their own stuff.. biggest reason why BTS is biggest group in world rn..is their powerful, deep, relatable lyrics.. sadly i often see that korean general public doesn't know or get why BTS are huge around the world..they think it's because BTS are k-pop group or because they have good looks.. it's not that..they are this huge & loved around the world cuz of their music, which all 7 members are highly involved in their music since the beginning.. since their debut..idk why k-media doesn't show your ppl the real reason BTS is so popular overseas.. their lyrics & music is biggest reason why they are living legends..and not any other k-pop group..this separate them from other k-pop groups out there..they are self made group, not from big 3 or with any industry support..they became big cause of their talent and not their pretty faces..they are not manufactured idols who get them their music handed by company..they are real artists

No one asked, but: based on this song, I think Kenzi's bias will be Yoongi. Though I believe most people would guess j-hope because of the singing quality. I think Kenzi's style is similar to Yoongi's hallmark autobiographical narrative.

Btw i always felt that among a large sum of koreans only a few look into BTS's discography. They already know BTS is famous bc they hear about them everyday. But I'm sure most of them don't dig into their discography as they feel they're from their country and only listen to their famous songs. They're Missing out a lot. BTS's discography is DIVERSE!

*Let me briefly explain BTS rapline to y'all!*
*RM* is a poet. You can not change my mind.His lyricism reads, sounds and works like poetry: a few words have multiple meanings and derivate in multiple chains of thought. Every time you listen to them, you discover new details, new ideas, new insights. Even when he's being straightforward, there's still some some philosophy or revelation or a big question or an aesthetic behind them. A poem is full of passion, but every word is chosen carefully, with intention. They're puzzle pieces, every piece has a place to create the full picture. It's a form of ART. WORDS WITH INTENTION.
*Suga's* lyricism is like "an arrow straight to the heart": you immediately understand the emotion he's trying to convey, you don't need to even know what he's saying to know "what you're supposed to FEEL". What he says is always interesting too, and it has layers too, but, from the first listen.... You usually feel that same way after listening to his song 1000 times. Even when the song is sociopolitical or when it displays an idea, your first impression is a STAB OF EMOTION forever tattooed in your memory.
*J HOPE's* lyricism is like a playground, an amusement park. A place where magical things happen, where you are encouraged to bend the rules. It's full of bright primal colors, you walk around with bounce in your steps and inevitably feel the childlike impulse of starting to dance around, or start imitating his onomatopoeias and alibis. There's a quirky creativity in his choice of analogies and a pure-hearted kindness in his message. Even when he expresses anger or sadness, there's this sense of DYNAMIC RHYTHM that is always moving, always unpredictable and ALIVE.

The thing with BTS is that they write real stuff and perform it with real emotions so it is not just them saying words and making gestures but it comes from the heart and you can feel that. So, no, they're not like some "idol rappers" who is emulating- and trying to act like rappers and hip hop by making awkward gestures. BTS are real, their lyrics and gestures are real.
I think too many people, both in Korea and around the world, have been so fooled by media to think that BTS is something they aren't and so many people are missing out on their amazing lyrics, performances and overall message and talents by thinking BTS is just a famous "kpop boy band phenomenon" when in fact BTS is a supergroup made up of 7 amazing multi talented artists who each bring something really different into the group and makes BTS really dynamic.
일단 'Outro: Tear'는 방탄소년단의 노래 중에 제일 좋아하는 노래인데 가사가 너무 좋아서 서울에 살다가 거기 있는 동안 음악을 못 본 것을 굉장히 후회하고 있습니다만 몇 달 후에 다시 돌아오는데 홍대나 다른 지역에서 랩과 다른 스타일의 음악을 많이 보고 싶어요. 정말 대단했어요. 채널을 처음 접했는데 두 분 다 출연자분들은 제가 가서 라이브를 해주셔야 해요.
켄지라는 가수분도 오늘 처음봤고 "천천히 가" 이렇게 좋은 노래도 오늘에야 알았네요
가사도 너무 따뜻하고 예쁘고 멜로디도 너무좋네요.
