literally the best anime ive ever watched, even better than one punch man. of course each one has a different style but i think darling in the franxx with its story, characters, romance, hiro and zero two and the "sad" ending makes we feel more emotions. i recently rewatched the whole anime and im so obsessed with hiro and zero two, because after all their fights, problems, emotions, happiness, they died in the last battle to save the world and their squad 13 friends. but the most heartwarming thing is when hiro and zero two, as souls, go back to earth to reincarnate and be together as they promissed to each other. the only sad thing is that the children they reincarned in wouldnt have any of the memories from the past life so it would be like a normal couple. thats why i wanted a film not a whole new season because we dont need much, just a conclusion of what exactly happened there.
