In the first quarter the only movie enjoyable was tu jhooti main makkar , gulmohar and for some extent bholaa...
Pathan was really a bad film but in bollywood money speaks and money changes the whole narrative and perception...
Baahubali, rrr, kgf, pushpa all were garbage. But in South money speaks and it changes the whole narrative and perception
Everywhere money speaks. See collections of fast & furious movies, mission impossible movies all action blockbusters with same story. People go to halls to get entertained not watch documentaries.

Nobody went to theatre for Deepika Padukone every one went for Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham stole the show plus sidhart anand deserves respect and about tjmm Ranbir Kapoor was one who created excitement and songs and shehzada was flop

I found SRK to be pretty below average in terms of performance...only John Abraham was the shoe stealer for me. But yeah movie made lots of money all because of SRK that we have to acknowledge.

@@samsingh9550 Zero, Fan, Jab Harry Met Sejal were pathetic films that even God wouldn't have been able to save! But Pathaan had its merits. It was a big screen action spectacle mounted on a huge canvas with a fairly gripping screenplay starring the biggest movie star in Indian cinema. Not hard to see why it did those numbers. 👍🏻

Pathan was not good. It worked cos of deepika and some good locations action sequences.. srk looks like a joker with massy dialogues
Maybe Shahrukh was the weakest link but still a huge profit share has gone to him. His producers don't think of him as a joker.
