Agree. We find that people fall in to one of two schools of thought with Los Cabos, either it's the only place in Mexico they ever go, or they never go because they think it's too touristy. We found a thousand reasons outside the "touristy" zone to absolutely love it. There is a lot to see if you get out of the resort zone and it's breathtaking.
Thank you! Noted on the food - and that's a popular request! We did better on getting footage of ourselves actually out and about and doing things by the time we got to Mexico City. At the time most of these episodes (so far) were shot, we were brand new with our equipment and still figuring out the artisitc direction of the channel in general (and we're still learning) Really appreciate the feedback and thank you again for watching!
Amazing video! Thank you! We are heading to the Sea of Cortez on August 2 for two weeks. Flying into San Jose. Planning to explore Las Cabos, Todos Santos and La Paz. We would really appreciate your advice on how to find such amazing accommodations as you did. Thanks in advance!
We are thrilled for you! When we first started our journey, we were not that experienced at finding accommodations, we mainly used airbnb. If you have a need for short term rentals, that is a convenient way to go. Having said that... we now steer clear of foreign landlords that inflate rent prices just because they can. It really hurts the local economy, so instead we do our best to find places with owners from the local area. Facebook and other social media groups are a great way to find referrals to such places. Staying in the heart of Cabo San Lucas will be your most expensive way to go, but if you are renting a car or dont mind ubering, you can always stay away from the action a little, and save some $. San Jose Del Cabo is slightly less expensive, followed by Todos Santos. We always try and see everything we possibly can within a days drive whereever we go. I wish you all the luck, have fun and dont be afraid to get off the beaten path and explore!!
@@lainedigital9684 Good Luck! Report back, love to hear how your trip goes. COnsider contacting Jay G - with La Paz divers if you want to see a whale shark! (and no - in case anyone is wondering - were not being paid to say that, he just simply did an incredible job and we valued all his info and clear love for what he does :)
