the only reason the Prince Rupert Drop broke at the end was because the brick smashed the tail and the head with the same amount of force for both, if it only hit the head it would’ve been perfectly ok. It is possible that the didn’t make it proper rupert drop
The ruperts drop can conpletely shatter if its tail is broken but the bulb can withstand BULLETS. And not only does it survive bullets, but the bullets SHATTER ON IMPACT WITH IT.

you didnt fully make a drop, the tail snapped off at one point earlier. youve gotta hit the end of the glass and let an entire molten piece fall into te water, the way you did it basically just cut off a piece of the glass.
