I added this story at the end, but I realize most people don't watch until then. I did get denim transfer once when wearing it cross body with dark blue jeans. This was my fault. It came off with a little soap and a damp cloth. I've worn this on the shoulder since then with light blue jeans without any issues!
Note - I know the black bag uses the cream leather interior! I don't know if this is true for all Iside bags, but I think so! I love that it's easy to see inside.
There are no marks on this bag. One benefit of this treated leather is everything seems to wipe off!

If you've seen my videos before, you might notice that the lighting is different. This was filmed at night with the lights on to show the true colors of the bag. Natural light made the bag look bright white and the lighting kept going wonky every time I held the bag up! Thank you for this review. Im in the UK and havent seen this bag, it is lovely. Have you seen the Celine nano belt bag, I feel like you would love that. I have the cream and it is the easiest most durable, pretty bag I have. They have brought it out in lots of colours 💕

Thanks for bringing attention to the Iside. It is my favourite bag. What I especially like is the strap attachment: so architectural and sophisticated with no clunky d-rings in sight. You didn’t mention that it is fully lined in goatskin leather. They’re like crisps - can’t stop at just 1🤪 I have multiples in both the mini and medium, and can’t recommend enough. Dress up, dress down. Perfect bag!

@@trishnguyen8098 Hello - measurements of the medium Iside are 12 cm x 20 cm x 26 cm. I suggest you make a paper pattern of the bag to see if you feel it would be too big on your very small frame. The width of 26 cm is the most critical measurement. Good luck in your choice!

Omg you are so right I saw some for sale on the real real and they were in terrible shape. Although they were listed at a really good price I didn’t want to buy them either. When I saw them listed on the real real I was super excited at first until I clicked on the listing. This video is from a year ago and I think it’s interesting that the bags in the real real are still in the same shape as they were a year ago. The handles were all misshapen and the leather was a beat up and dirty. 🥴 I was like omg lol.
I can't imagine why the ones on secondhand sites are so beat up! It's a very sturdy bag with great structure. 😊 I'm careful with my bags, but not that careful if that makes sense lol.

Thank you! I followed my friend's advice. I think it worked because it's treated leather and didn't have a long time to set. I used the tiniest amount of liquid soap and a damp cloth to get the blue mark out. When the color came off, I thoroughly patted it dry.

How is the wear on the leather where the clasp rotates, it does not mark it?

That's a great question! I hadn't thought of that. I don't have any signs of wear or marks where the clasp rotates. The clasp doesn't drag across the leather at all. It may help that mine is a treated, pebbled leather, and they do have smooth calfskin options. Those might be more prone to scratches. Thanks for watching! 😊

my dream bag! could you speak a bit to the wear and tear after owning it for a few years? any concerns or things to look out for?
I haven't had any issues with wear and tear, but I don't use it every week because it's white. If you're looking at light colors, avoid wearing it against dark denim. I had color transfer once because I wore it crossbody for only one hour, but I was able to get it off. I've seen secondhand ones online, and the handles are always wonky. I'm not sure how that happens because mine is in great shape. I would recommend storing it sitting flat on a shelf versus hanging in by the strap or handle on a hook. I hope you get your dream bag! I still highly recommend the brand😊
I just bought this bag! Lovely but do you know what we should use to clean this bag in case of color transfer?
So I very limited experience in this area. I had a bit of color transfer from wearing it all day with dark blue jeans once. I was able to get it off with a damp cloth and tiny bit of dish soap. I've heard leather conditioner can take off stains, but I haven't tried it and I don't know if it would work on this treated leather. Sorry I can't be more helpful! I haven't had any transfer since that first time, and I only wear it with well-washed, light blue jeans now. Hope you enjoy your bag!!

@@jennyh4156 thanks, please do! Fingers crossed it won't ever need it. Yeah, my gut says avoid leather conditioner unless you did it evenly all over the bag as a last resort. Just a damp cloth that won't put down any product can take care of minor spots

Thank you! I'm not exactly sure what you mean by wavy. Is the side not flat or is it the texture? My leather has a texture to it, but it's still holding it's shape. The sides are very straight and structured. Feel free to dm me on instagram. I'm happy to show you a picture if that's easier 😊

I have the Brera in Pergamena White and I love it! Do you know if Valextra has a bag spa? Also, I know it's a very hard leather, but not quite epi, does it scratch easily?
I've never heard of one for Valextra, but they may do repairs. I've been curious to try the Brera!
No, this leather is very sturdy. I don't have any scratches after several years. You would have to really try to scratch it with something sharp.
@@traingirl.meghan thanks for the reply! The Brera’s top flap opening can be a little finicky tbh, you either have to shove you hand in without looking or pull the flap up past the top handle for it to stay open. Still a bit easier to work with than a Kelly or Birkin of the same size though.

No worries! Thanks for your questions! To be fair, I don't use the bag heavily since I change out my bag everyday. I would use it more often if it was a darker color, but I love this cream shade. It's in perfect condition, and I absolutely recommend it! I've considered adding another color because it's one of my most versatile, enjoyable bags. Hope this helps!

I only had denim transfer once because I wore it crossbody for hours against dark blue jeans. They were old jeans, and I had washed them countless times. I cleaned the bag as soon as I came home with a damp cloth and dish soap, and the color came off.
Now I only wear it with light jeans, but I typically use it handheld.

I'm not sure what the design of the silk mitzah is. I don't see it currently on their website.

They are very close in size, but the Iside has a slightly wider base. Also, the Iside can fit a lot more than the mini peekaboo because it doesn't have the divider 😊

It's cream, but it's not too yellow like some creams. It's only really noticeable when I wear it next to something like a white tshirt.

Not very heavy for being all leather. The larger sizes might be, but I've never noticed the weight when carrying this 😊
