"All these machines will be connected to our operations center" So in other words, when I'm fixing a broken culvert during an emergency flood situation and something is not quite right with the machine, Deere is going to shut it down and tell me a technician needs to service it ?
No. That's not what the Deere operations centers do. But, I like the way you just invent problems. You must be a joy to work with. The Operations Center is for management functions. It allows you to track maintenance automatically, setup projects for equipment management, etc. It's for equipment owners, Deere doesn't control any of the equipment.
You do realize John Deere is at the forefront of lobbying for the legalization of "only" manufacturer service centers working on equipment? They want to make it illegal for owners to work on their bought and paid for equipment. JD is dumping millions into politicians back pockets to get those laws made and passed. I've watched several live town halls that had JD speakers pitching their desires to the politicians. It is only a matter of time before it happens.
What's wrong with it? Sounds like you need the dealer to figure it out or send a new one. Seen a few brands suffer the same, notably Kubota when they had the def recalls on the svl-95s.
Cat have had full size cans on their reduced radius machines since the E series, this is not the first short-tail with a full sized cab. The machines look the part though, and I’ve heard good things about the new Deere machines in Australia.
Its No Good to say you have a load of COOL Features !!!!!!!!!!!- Detail WHY the Pins and Bushes are better!! Detail HOW you strengthened the Boom / Stick etc, Customers NEED TO KNOW HOW you have improved !! Not just a Cliche Comment like COOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I see, you don't understand it's a six-minute overview not an hour-long presentation of all of the features. If you're that interested, then go to a dealer and bother them...
I thought these were designed in China through XCG [ NOT XCMG} Hopefully for Deere they can maintain their share as Deere badged Hitachi excavators, especially ones equipped with the Isuzu were very strong.
I wish them well, but what a potential customer risk to get a first run of a newly designed equipment. Parts and knowledge are more abundant on tried and true models that have had time to soak in the market. I have owned up to 9 Deere brand excavators at a single time in my fleet ,they are fine.
love your video bud! love all the vintage logging iron you show us hiding in the bushes of BC! i hope they build these hoes better than those 853m bunchers they designed
@@mysterysolver514 I wasn't impressed with the specs and since Deere and Hitachi dissolved there partnership Deere was talking about partnering with Wacker Newson to develop the next generation Deere mini excavators.
John Deere will make crappy excavators without Hitachi parts. Hitachi makes pumps and valves on most JD hoes so if they are out of the picture that would be cause of concern for me. The Japanese are very smart.
@@ChuckBeefOG It's not just being smart its their attention to detail and quality control. I'll always pick Hitachi over Deere any day of the week, month, or year. I've always hated the Deere engines, noisy and hard on fuel and they don't last as long at the Isuzu engines.
The 135G is a little powerhouse. Great engines, PITIFUL cabs. While Caterpillar is focusing on creature comforts John Deere has neglected to even give an operator room for a lunch box. Winter clothing snags on controls trying to exit the machine. I’m 6’4” and have been operating heavy equipment for 50 years. Do Better John Deere!
Deere are awesome machines we tried there machines and were very impressed we bought 2 LARGE EXCAVATORS but the DEALER in our area is TRASH the nicest way I can describe them (DOGGET). THATS WHY WITHOUT GOOD DEALER SUPPORT IN YOUR AREA. NO MACHINE WORTH THE MONEY In my area MUSTANG CAT/ROMCO VOLVO/ and ASCO CASE are great fair dealers
Did not hear good things when it comes to john deere and their new tractors. Expensive machinery eith expensive parts, all of it is priced as high as possible. John deere… no thanks

Not how that works. But, it’s fine.
Basically yes. They can upload viruses in them. The old Bill Gates Microsoft business model.

@@buckhorncortez knowing John Deere yes that’s exactly how it’ll work
Do me a favor and fix your 333g - I’ve had one for about 11 mos and it’s not functioned properly for 9 of them with a meer 260 hrs on the unit.
What's wrong with it? Sounds like you need the dealer to figure it out or send a new one. Seen a few brands suffer the same, notably Kubota when they had the def recalls on the svl-95s.
Apparently he forgot that 45 years ago Deere had the 690 which was all Deere.
I was thinking the same. We owned an “in house” 690 ELC. Wasn’t the best of the Deere-Hitachi’s I’ve owned.
@@timrainwater3969that was pretty funny man.

But they still won’t let the owners repair their own units!
RIGHT TO REPAIR NOW!
Total loss of the right to repair is what you mean
That's exactly my Thought
Yup just like they did with farm equipment. It's going to push more of us towards the Chinese brands.
@@bert26a yes chinese using wideley available engines and parts.
Ill take a 2009, thx.

A glossy once over breeds mistrust !!- better with no glossy once over !!.
@@buckhorncortez If it's that difficult to justify, you should settle for an old and functional one like Volvo, Volvo excavators never disappoint.
Old school heavy equipment is cool, no computer chips, no sophisticated electronics to break down.

158 acres of desert, prairie, forest, swamp? Depends.

Whomever does the closed captioning needs to know Deere vs deer...and capitalization.
The togglable closed caption is a feature automatically generated by UA-cam.
Why John Deere became yellow?

They cant copy but they can purchase from another manufacturer. Most of are still Hitachi built in Japan. All minis are still Hitachi

Nope. John Deere lost it's way

Looks like rubbing CAT”s nose in the dirt 🤔 Are JD getting too big or just shaking up the market with innovation 🤭
Does this mean “ made in america “ ??
assembled in america with imported parts
If they quit using the Hitachi hydraulic pumps I’ll switch to all orange.

Honestly
Nothing so innovative!!
Put that same cab on a bulldozer and move it to the front of the machine for greater visibility. Put the engine in the middle and the cooling in back.
