This is just another paid promotion by Byju. Thier PR team is extremely devious. This interview is one such attempt. I saw another video on Brut India, titled "Inside The Life of BYJU’S Cofounder | Brut Sauce" - ua-cam.com/video/yFYGdzRVpiw/v-deo.html Looks like the PR team is working day and night to correct the image of the organization by carefully planned and articulated videos being pumped into social media. Funny thing is, even with so much widespread hate and criticism against Byju's and their horrible practices, the comments on this video and the one on Brut India's video are extremely positive. One does not has to think much how that is possible 😅
I just checked a lot of the positive comments. Your claim of 9/10 doesn't seem to be true. That's ok I think. I'm just curious why this company is getting such hate. I feel it's mostly because education is a sensitive issue and the sales practices are unethical, but sales is unethical in several companies. In fact, sales is notorious for this. I'm curious if you've actually seen the product, like Byju said in the podcast?

I find it a bit hypocritical. In one podcast Raj hails Rajiv Talreja for expressing his views that businesses creating value should be celebrated, not the businesses burning crores of money and in this one he brings an entrepreneur who is doing exactly the opposite and he calls that business biggest start up of the world! Oyo's Ritesh Agarwal is one more such scamster who was featured on his podcast. Ritesh's views on business/entrepreneurship might be good and worth learning something from but Oyo as a company is a disaster. Even after hearing so many negative reviews, recently I dared to book a stay through Oyo and I had exactly the same experience that complainants had spoken about. Such businesses won't last long. But Raj is seemingly appeasing every business and businessman that can get him recognition and views! This, in particular, seems like a 2 hours long paid commercial for Byju's.
@@marathimanus1147 also Oyo as a company will succeed. Think about it. Before Oyo, hotels were expensive and no transparency. And couple friendly- hardly any hotels offered that. Oyo came in and changed everything. I'm quite confident they'll succeed in future. Ig Indians just have unrealistic expectations for what they're paying. Pay 600-700 per night and expect 5 star hotel experience
@@gokuls9062 Oyo did that successfully and it was their customer acquisition strategy. It worked in the beginning but currently the situation is terrible. It's just like what Zomato tried to do with their Zomato gold membership. The restaurants had to give up a lot of revenue due to these discounts and eventually many resturants quit and the program was abandoned. There are so many players that allow hotel rooms booking because of which there's a lot of competition. To beat the competition, Oyo offers a lot of discounts. Technically when you book a room with whatever discount, the aggregator company i.e. Oyo in this case, should bear the discount and pay the base price to the hotel owner. But now that doesn't seem to be happening. In many cases when you book a room through Oyo, the hotel owners say that they don't take bookings through Oyo. In some cases they are like we are sold out and there are no rooms available. In other cases they ask for more money at the time of check in. That's what was going to happen in my case recently. I booked a stay at 1600/-. Due to all negative feedback, I called up the hotel and requested them to confirm my stay and the fact that I won't have to make extra payment. The hotel receptionist said that he won't be able to confirm anything until it's 1/2 days before the stay and he also mentioned that their base price is 1800/- rupees (for a room without balcony). For a room with balcony it's 2500/. He continued that depending on the booking they receive for me, I will have to pay the difference. He was like 'if you book a room at 500/600 rupees, you can't expect to stay with us in such low amount '. Then I called up Oyo and told what hotel receptionist told me and also asked them confirm the booking on their part. The customer representative put me on hold for 15 mins saying he is trying to contact the hotel and confirm the booking. After those 15 mins he also stopped replying to me and ultimately the call got disconnected. I simply cancelled my booking and explored other options. Well done raj your podcast is so inspiring that most of the commenters joined 1 days back to tell that this is so inspiring. I have one request you should ask him what food you like . It will be good to know what entrepreneurs eat.😂😂😂

Byjus are masters in marketing n advertising, and that what they are doing right now in this podcast, they try to remove brand negativity just by saying his life story with the help of raj…. That’s what VIP do when there is some negativity against them, they come in front of famous channel and say what they wants to convey to cover their shit …..Great job 🙌🏻
Every product or service needs marketing; thats how it works; thats how every firm works….He didnt become VIP within one day. He worked really hard to reach this point. Before commenting, do some basic research and then pass on comments.

@@priyaphilip5979 I believe your currently working in byjus
Bhai isko bolde ki byjus mujhe daily call krna band krde😢🙏🏻🙏🏻
Despite having such a negative portrayal in the media, it is really true that. Byju's has been successful in attracting investors due to the high quality of its products and the positive feedback received from customers who have really utilized and profited from them.
It's such pleasure to listening to Raveendran's answers and insights, find so much charm and intelligence on this man. fantastic
Oh my god. Raj Shamani, this podcast will get you a lot of PR and reach. Journalists will milk out content from this, so make sure you have credits to all news! Wonderful to see that he chose you

I am a HUGE disciple of BYJU Raveendran. Interesting Conversation

The title of the video says so... "Byju's founder on layoffs" but I wonder why there was no discussion about it.
I am a fan of your podcasts but this highly disapointed me.
I am preety sure byjus IPO is coming in the next 6months
People can say many things about him, but all I see is a TEACHER trying to help students love learning.
So authentic and intelligent, everybody should look up to BYJU Raveendran.
At any given moment, his level of energy is exceptionally high. It demonstrates his commitment to the work that he is doing when he states that he is still working harder. Absolutely motivational.
Now WHO'S HERE AFTER BYJU'S FALL ?
Me
With so much capital at stake, Byju's ability to anticipate not only revenue but also the impact made by the product on parents and kids is indicative of his success as an entrepreneur.
Raveendran has the right understanding about life empathy sympathy compassion kindness and giving
I wish mr Ravindran give interview to mainstream media which has better reach to explain the situation for better prospects of byju the company.
He has such faith in India and the youth of today! He's such a fantastic leader. It's easy to see why BYJU'S has achieved global success.
This final part about rewiring is just a pure gold.
Years ago, he taught by going to different cities, which led him to make a platform where people can learn from anywhere. This is so inspiring.

Byju Raveendran is best founder who takes his company forward 🔥
By far the best moderator I have seen on any of these talks! great job.
It’s a terrific podcast! It’s not that Byju is trying to manipulate, he kinda means whatever he is saying.. more power to such brilliant Indian founders ..
Such a brilliant founder
Exactly like our politicians
Fake promises, selling lies and fake dreams , promoting toxic work culture, harassing own employees,
Manipulating parents
Such a revolutionary man

BYJU Raveendran amicable and honest interview.
Why was there no question on the layoff of 2500 employees???
This is one of the longest podcast uploaded on this channel I guess. Also this makes sense as much clarifications are needed when everyone is assuming things around Byju in recent days
Perfectly describes BYJU's working culture.. Raveendran's interviews are always enriching ones..
You can sit and listen to
Raveendran for hours, such clarity and conviction.

I'm so impressed by how determined and sure of himself he is. I'm so glad I didn't have to stop watching it in the middle!

so called "no.1 startup of India"
and lectures of pw, apni kaksha, dear sir, magnetic brains, eduhap, etc are way better than byju's lectures

Totally unexpected podcast!!
poput 😂
I really Appreciate you for making this video - We need to know 2 things 1. What mindset to carry after big failures. 2 - Lessons from failures !
10 failures - Leads to 1 success, which becomes talk of the town..
This is India's no 1 learning platform.

I enrolled myself into Byju’s 4 year program for 1 lac.
Physics wallah has better teachers and more qualified one for free whereas, the goddamn Byjus isn’t even close to pw
A ton of my classmates are frustrated because of this damn Byjus
Would never recommend Byjus to anybody
And and and …… launching AKASH in the stock market for its the only subsidiary of Byju’s which is profitable
Will use the money raised by its ipo to run other subsidiaries
