Episode 4, Map 6 of Quake titled, "The Pain Maze". Played on the "Nightmare" difficulty with 100% kills and secrets. Follow me on Facebook: / thisislbf
Notice how late we're getting rocket launcher in episode 4. Reason for that is Sandy's weapon choice. He stated his favorite weapon was grenade launcher. That's most likely reason for puting rocket launcher so late. I can even bet he was told to place it somewhere and would not do that on his own.
Tomek FM I never knew that about Sandy, that he felt that way about the rocket launcher. I’ve even gone through E4M7 a few times thinking I still didn’t have it haha.
I'm actually surprised at how many of the E4 maps I remember clearly, particularly this one. I didn't really like Petersen's levels in the Doom games that much, but he really came into his own when he shifted to a true 3D space.
You make it look so easy, LightningBoltForever! I'm playing Quake at Hard level and after three full episodes and most of this episode, I almost gave up trying at this map. Just found it immensely difficult to deal with all those Spawns. In the last few minutes I finally did it, so came along to see how you handled it. Really enjoy your videos.
When I reached the exit there, it asked me if I was sure to leave and said I left something important behind. Any ideas? EDIT: Turns out it was the rocket launcher.
The penultimate map. I'm going to be a little sad when this walkthrough's over because for the first time since your runthroughs of the IWAD maps you're playing a game I used to play
reptongeek I gotcha. Yeah, it is always a little sad when each game comes to a close. Mysteries of the Sith definitely made me feel a little like that, just ‘cause it didn’t feel like it took very long.

LightningBolt, ever played Lego Star Wars: The Compelte Saga? One of my favorite childhood games and it’s quite challenging for a secret explorer like you lol
CrazyKraken True. I’ve hated most levels because of, you know, the challenges and collecting all the minikits which would be a disaster for him by making many attempts. Other than that, I never played Lego Racer and Island. LSW was my first game in the Lego series.
This map really is a pain...a pain in the ass!
5:08 - The Ranger's elegance on the balance beam! And that perfect jump! 10/10!
Hmmm.... 10/10, That’s the same rating I would give your channel!
BigMacDavis Such form! Such grace! Much agility!
"They're not that bad" was about to get his ass handed to him by one.
this episode is hard as hell, especially this map.
And man, I hate this map. So many Spawns.

Playing through the remaster slowly but getting there this video helped as the pain maze was a pain alright

Dude you are honestly my favorite UA-camr to just like relax to after a long day. Cheers dude!
Curtis Richards Thanks man!! Glad you enjoy my content!

This map has lived up to its name
You made this look easy! And you handled all the Spawns very well!
Next is the last map of the Episode, and it isn't too bad!
CarlRaven91 I actually the next map is the hardest, at least for the episode. The Spawns are nasty in that one!
Wow! I'm quite impressed. It kinda took a few tries to get to the top, but you made that perfect jump! Nice! :)
episode 4 as a whole is a fuckin slog man, pain maze makes me wanna put my face in a blender
considering how much you HATE the spawns.. i'm suprised you like this map! it is a great challenge actually

Sorry, I didn't realise I left a reply there.

Although you could stretch it out a bit longer by doing the Mission Packs!

I love the Spawns in this level. It should be called the 'Spawn Maze'.
Fuck. I didn't know I was supposed to defile the unholy altar in order to progress.
So, you have two maps left, right? I believe this is going to be a great LP. I'm enjoying it, the question is if I'll enjoy the game itself as much.

Idk how he would handle a Lego game, tbh, other than maybe Lego Island or Lego Racer

You know you're supposed to replay the levels in free mode after you complete story mode to get all minikits and stuff, right? :P
XxAngelReaperxX I have played and I’ve completed 100% a long time ago, but I don’t think I’d do an LP of it. It would take a loooong time.
CrazyKraken I know. It was a pain in the arse back in the good days of being young.
One more map and it's over!
3:38 was satisfactory as fuck
4TH
Wtf there wasn't ever a gold key on the lift
Blue jumping -a lot of here . I don,t like them !
First!!!
in my opinion the worst level
