Ah the Prayer mat is Not very much appreciated by Prophet muhammad (Pbuh) or Sahaba like Abdullah ibn Masood They use to pray on ground, even in rainy season sahaba have seen Wet earth on the forehead of prophet So avoid using it in home, Use it Out side in traveling or Your workplace
Asalamualaykum I'm an Indian muslim and we do consider the qibhla direction to place the face of the toilet away . Here our direction of qibhla is west so we face the toilet mouth either facing in north or south direction.

Not sure sis, I know a few people who always tilt the prayer mat. But the main point is we should have the direction towards the qiblah and it doesn't matter if the qiblah is straight or diagonal on direction. 😇

I seek your help!....will be grrateful if someone advises me in this regard., My issue is: I've learnt that people who draw pictures of animate beings will be cast in hell fire and they would be cursed by Allah swt,...I drew my mother's picture on a paper as a gift for her on her birthday (I regret not taking the hadeeth seriously back then...). She loves it and has even kept it in the locker. Now I might not be able to take it out and tear it as the act may hurt her feelings...but I'm concerned about Allah's punishment, what should i do now? should i still try to crumple and throw it, or should i let it be as it is? Pls reply!
Not sure if you still wanted an answer but I'll still reply. I'm unaware if your mother is a Muslim, you could show her the hadiths that explain the forbidding. This may help to persuade her to get rid of the drawing, because that is now her decision as it is in her possession. As for yourself, make dua for forgiveness and mercy. Allah (swt) is Al Rahman Al Raheem, pray to him and know that he will do what's pleasing in the end. Learn from the mistake and pray to our creator. Salam and may Allah (swt) guide you on the straight path. 🤲
