The Nostalgia is so strong. Takes me back to being a 10 year old waking up at 5 a.m. to watch an episode before going fishing at the local pond to try out what I just saw on TV. LOL good times!
I am the kid that is doing the speech on you.Think you so much for that hat that you gave me!That is why I said in my speech that I am thankful for dedicated and humble fishermen like you.
I started watching Bill Dance when I lived in Cincinnati in 1983, every Saturday morning. Still watching here in 2023. You are still relevant and I am still learning from you. Thank you for all you do my friend! God bless!
Good morning, Bill. God bless you Sir and Thank you for all you do. I've learned so much watching you over the years. And I know all of your fans are better fisherman because of you.
Bill has been an inspiration since I was 9 or 10 years old. He fished at a watershed outside of Henry Tennessee and a couple of my friends were fortunate enough to meet him. I wished I would been there that day. Anyway, I'm out here in Oregon now showing these trout guys how to catch bass, and I think about Bill and his lessons everytime I fish almost 30 years later. Thanks Bill, it's all about having fun.
@billdancefishing yessir, we called it Blounts lake, cant remember the watershed number but it is a beautiful lake. Hopefully you could get back out there and catch some hogs! Thanks for the reply, you are my hero since I was a kid!
Bill Dance ! For over a year or close to two now I have been trying to buy a signed Tennessee cap from you and I don't know if it is just my bad timing on looking or what but they are ALWAYS sold out ! Before you leave this earth Bill I WILL OBTAIN ONE !!!
Bill I'm gonna start a little project using your episodes condition report and see if I can make some correlation between barometric pressure and fish activity. I've noticed that you almost always tell the depth of the fish. I've also noticed that a lot of the time the water is slick when they are really active. My best days have always been after a night of thunderstorm with a calm muggy morning that follows . In summer months of course. Thanks for inspiration I had better get started I got a lot of videos to watch.
Bill, I was at Reelfoot Lake last month and saw it is to become a Signature Lake. I have been fishing there for bass the last 20 years and the fishery is in a decline. The local commercial fisherman can verify this. Asian carp have overwhelmed the lake. The dam needs an electric barrier and the commercial fisherman need reefer truck available to create a route to get rid of them. Please, we need you help to restore the Reelfoot fishery.
