Thank you Sarah---for discussing your "mistakes". You and other knitters have shown me that it's okay to have mistakes in one's knitting... it's allowed me to grow as a knitter and to have more grace with my mistakes. After all, I learn from my mistakes and they do not detract from the piece I have created.

Thank you so much for speaking about your attitude towards mistakes. I learn the exact same way but I used to have a problem with it, thinking I wasn’t as good as others. You have shown me it’s a way towards growth. It such a mature, excellent approach to life❤. You are so inspiring for me even though I’m so much older than you. Hi Sarah, I bought die Knitting for Olive Silk last year too, because I wanted to knit the " My Camisole No. 4" by My Favourite Things Knitware. It is for 2 balls of the Pue Silk. I hope to start it soon, but I have also so many other tops in my focus...😂 Just bought the pattern Tremezzo Tank by Pia Trans, a garter top down top. Hope to start it this weekend. Sarah, for your Knitting for Olive bottom-up top, you could start with provisional cast-off. Then adjust the length and bottom ribbing at the end based on yarn availability. Just an idea.
Correction, meant to say *provisional cast-on*, not case-off.
Make sure the knitting police aren't disguised as a postman, Sarah ! He might be watching out for mistakes😉

I love the fabric of your dress. Do you know what size the gingham is? I'm looking at fabric online and can't decide if I need 1 inch or 3/8 inch. I like the size yours is.
