patrick mc carthy Hi Patrick. General set-up is 9' 5wt, 6lb leader about 20' long with 4 buzzers. Then it's just a matter of looking for hatching fly, usually you'll the gulls picking on the water, if there's fly coming off then for sure there'll be fish underneath them. Do all my buzzer fishing on a floater...I see some lads using sink tips but the deepest water I'm usually in is 20ft.
