Those Wine harmonies and riffs have so much layers. Loved this! I recently discovered Taeyeon's cover of My Funny Valentine. If you haven't heard it I would love to hear your thoughts. It just gives a different vibe to what I've seen from her.

I always start Purpose album with 'Find Me' even though its not the first song, it just setting up the mood and go on from there, perfect.
There's a recording behinds the scenes video of Taeyeon recording Siren from this album. From watching that vocal tracking session, I'm guessing that part in Wine was developed by her and the producer during tracking. Sometimes signature arrangement parts are pre-planned, and whoever sings the guide works it out. But for Siren, Taeyeon didn't seem to be working from a guide vocal. I would love to see more about her process, but SM doesn't give up many secrets about its signature vocals.
This is true, even before with her sub unit TTS, she changes parts during recording if it felt like it needed. She gave her part to Tiffany cause it needed her delivery instead.
If the anecdote about the recording of "If" was true about her changing the way the chorus was sang.. notice the phrasing of it as well, it was a throwaway song given to a literal rookie but she transformed that song.
Her rerecording some songs cause she disliked the way it was finished (Gemini) and maybe countless others.
Her changing the melody (coming it up herself) to the 2nd part of Feel so Fine instead of being a rap part.
There were changes she does to some songs that any other artists would fight to be put on the credits for.. that Taeyeon just shrug and not claim at all.
Love this!! The best part was when she was replaying "My vintage love" for hundreds of times XD

I love the SNSD/Taeyeon agenda on your channel!! Something that you/the singers may enjoy are her behind the scenes recordings. She has one for Siren from the INVU album (LOTS of harmonies) and there is a Closer (from Forever 1) recording where Taeyeon and the rest of the girls each have a segment. They're really interesting and I enjoy watching Taeyeon in particular because you can tell the directors have fun recording with her because her voice is so versatile. It's also fun to watch the girls do their harmonies. They also showed some of the other recordings on Soshi TamTam, I remember some clips from Villain and Forever 1 specifically.
Oh also Circus (from Something New) would be a fun one to see reactions to, Taeyeon did her own vocal directing on that song.
