I took my 82 year father to a character breakfast at Disneyland Paris, no children involved, it was truly magical. He has dementia and he truly came to life seeing the characters. So if being a Disney adult is wrong I don't care and don't want to be right. Disney adults are the best 🤗
That is a wonderful story! Thank you for sharing! You’re amazing and I know it meant the world to your Dad! Don’t let any negative comments get to you. What you did was truly awesome!
For me, I lost my childhood growing up in a very abusive situation. I feel like when I go to Disneyland, that gets me to the closest to the feeling of what my perception is of what I lost.
My mom once said "All we wanted was to at least get a bread at the fair" because of how strict and poor my parents life were. With that said, I took them to Disney. Fed them all the sweets, got them on the rides, let them dance and take pics with the characters. My mom didnt have to worry about cleaning, didnt have to worry about her kids (we are all grown), got to wear the cutest clothes that she wanted, dress up with ears. I just took my daughter and her best friend for her 18th birthday. We ate at the Crystal Palace for breakfast and she started crying when Pooh came to our table. Through her tears she said “I’m finally a Disney adult!” 😭
It's those few adults that will try to force their way in front of small kids at parade time. Or use tablets to record. Say the show dialogue. Things like that that causes people to dislike the Disney adult. Funny thing is that there are parents there with small kids that do the very same things, plus other more annoying things.
@@BobDoesReviews I guess my biggest pet peeve is when I see these grown adults buy 20 of a new item at let’s say creations shop just to resell them. If they are there purely for enjoyment then I’m good with that.

I'm not gonna lie, when Molly said "I miss you" to Tigger and he kissed her hands and then gave her a hug I started ugly crying. In these days that we're living in, hugs and meeting characters as an adult means so much more than a lot of people understand. We were forced to go without human interaction for so long and getting do little things like hug a Disney character just make us feel like things are going to be better. This was beautiful! I have a child, but she's too young for me to take to the parks yet so I go on girls trips with adults only. I'm forever a Disney adult and proud!!!
This video is so relatable! I have two kids and I’m taking them in a couple of weeks but my first Disney trips were as an adult on my own and truly enjoyed it for me! It made the trips so enjoyable. Now it’s more for my girls although meeting Mickey is still when I become a little girl and that’s all about me, ha!
@@ecasaigne haha me too. I FINALLY seen him a week ago. I haven't seen him since the park closed. I even had a magic key last year and I still never got to see him. If all of this stuff is “cringe” to non Disney adults, then so many of us are right along there with you, Molly. I embrace all my happy Disney love and all the joy it’s brought over the years.
Currently on a solo trip to Disney world and the staff have been very lovely they even make a little small talk while you wait solo, which I appreciate. The best part is you can decide what to do at all times and no one is arguing or having a tantrum. It’s chill 😊
Disney adult here, and I love that you did this, Molly. For our honeymoon, my husband and I went to Disney World in 2009. We had breakfast at the Crystal Palace one of the days. I wore my bride Disney ears, and we took photos with the characters. I asked Eeyore if I could hold his tail while we took a photo, and afterward, I teared up. That surprised me, and my husband asked me why I teared up... well, when I was a kid in the 80s, my parents took me to Disney World, but they refused to eat in any of the restaurants (too expensive). I was so jealous of the kids I could see eating in Crystal Palace and meeting characters. So I finally got to do it as an adult, and I didn't realize how much it meant to me until it happened. We had a great time in Disney, just the two of us with no kids. We went into EVERY single shop and browsed... came home with a treasure trove of fabulous Disney merch!
We got to go to Disney as kids but brought our own food (would go back to parking lot and eat lunch at the car), could not get souvenirs, or pay for any extras. I am blessed that we even got to go, but I still look longingly at the balloons with the Mickey head inside. Someday . . .
This video brought me so much joy. I was smiling the whole time you were having your breakfast. The way the you and the characters were interacting, Tiger knocking over your camera, and then making faces. It's all so pure and I love every single second of it.
There are so many things in this world that are worse than being a Disney adult. I spend most of my time learning the worst things about humanity (as a student of forensic psychology) that I enjoy watching Disney videos for some nostalgic happiness and relief. I cried with joy right along with you meeting those characters, so thank you for bringing joy to so many people. I really appreciate it!
I completely relate! Forensic science MS & medico-legal death investigator. Ppl always say this job is hard, etc. but really it made me appreciate my loved ones and have gratitude for my time and to let go of judgment. We are all dealing w/trauma and issues differently and everyday, it has really helped me judge myself and others less. ❤
We didn’t have the resources growing up to go to the parks as a family. I was like the girl in that Disney World commercial who told Mickey, “I’ve waited my whole life to meet you!” when I visited for the first time a few years ago at 32. Proud Disney adult. 😊
Also over here thinking about how many parents watch content made by ‘Disney adults’ to help make their children’s Disney experience that much more magical. ❤ Haters will hate. Always do what makes you happy. Never stop Molly!
If someone ever bullies you based on what brings you joy, just know that THAT person was probably bullied and made to feel wrong about whatever they loved. No need to take it on or take it personally! 💗 #prouddisneyadult 😆
Yea they’re sad people themselves so they try everything to suck out the joy out of the ones that are living happy ones Hey here’s my advice. If someone tells you to “get a life” just for being a Disney adult, you say “a life like yours? Yea No thanks” or “I have a life, better than yours” lol
You should never feel weird being alone at Disney, groups break away to do their own thing all of the time so there’s always tons of random people on their own everywhere you look. Just enjoy it!
I'm from New Zealand and have never been Able to afford to get to a country with a Disney park, but I'm going to be a huge Disney adult when the cruise comes this way next year. How dare we be allowed to enjoy ourselves as adults?! I'm actually childfree but God forbid I want to enjoy my life. People are so judgy. Love this Molly!
I'm a Disney Adult and proud of it. I think we are a special breed - we have the ability to tap into our "inner child" far more successfully than the "nons". And it's just so much fun! Molly - you brighten my day. I get home from busy day in a law office and de-stress by watching you. Xx
I have pretty good cringe-dar and this did not set it off. Look adulthood is stressful and everyone needs stress relief and healthy escapism. If wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt and hugging Tigger makes you happy then do it. There are much worse things
I am a Disney adult (over 40) and went to Disney for my first time just before Covid with my dad ( over 70) with no grandkids. No other kids and we had a blast and I think the stereotype needs to be put to bed. Also, my dad’s dream was to see Pluto and goofy so of course we did character dining.
I’m a snarky, sarcastic millennial who usually finds costumed characters pretty cringey and childish. A few months ago, my father and I went to Disney for the 50th anniversary and to finally experience Galaxy’s Edge. Somewhat unexpectedly, we suddenly found ourselves watching the magic kingdom parade, and darnitall if that many characters from my childhood dancing past didn’t manage to melt even my bitter, withered heart! Edit: OK, that Mr. Toad popcorn bucket is adorable. Wind in the Willows is one of my favorite children’s stories.
Someone told me in a negative way that it’s a form of escapism. Yes, it is! The atmosphere created by the imagineers is absolutely incredible. I get to completely forget about work for a few days, just have fun and recharge before getting back to business. Nothing wrong about that at all. Everyone has their own ways of destressing too.
I can’t count how many solo Disneyland trips I have made. My friends think I’m ridiculous. The Pooh characters are my favorite and I totally teared up watching your time with Tigger. I am a Disney adult.
Molly’s character interactions are golden. How could anyone think she wasn’t genuinely thrilled to meet them all?! She doesn’t take too long or monopolize other’s time, and her conversations are so pure.
Thank you for doing what you do. I’ve spent way too much of my Disney loving life worried about what people think. It’s videos like this that help me heal and know that I’m good just how I am. I can love what I love and that’s ok! Also Disney is the happy place for my husband and I. He’s being deployed this week for 9 months and the sadness is setting in. This video made me cry in a good way. I know that one day Disney will be an even bigger part of our lives because this is just what we love! AND THATS OK!
Idk why the internet hates Disney adults (at least the normal disney adults). Every single disney adult I've met has been a sweet, passionate fan. As an autistic 18 year old who's new to Disney Adulting and who has faced harassment for my special interests and hyperfixations , I can confirm that there are way worse things than being a baseline Disney Adult. And honestly? Molly is one of the best, most respectful and professional Disney Adults I've ever seen. Keep doing what you do, sis ✌️✨
It's proud to be a Disney adult! It brings joy and joy is contagious. You keep being Molly, no one else can do it better! After all, Walt was an adult and he started all this! 😊
Molly, thanks for being awesome. Thank you for shining a light on this, and thanks for saying “you know what else is cringey….” That’s just what I, a Disney Adult, needed to hear.
Most of the people who think this is weird are majorly into a sports team or something else that becomes a large chunk of their own identity. I can say 100% that living amongst “Roll Tide” Alabama football fanatics who have no actual connections to the university itself (think house, car, and person totally decked out, all conversation comes back to AL football…) is more annoying than people who like to vacation at Disney!
I’m a Disney adult! And also, twice a week I get together with a few of my friends and we play make believe and pretend to be magical creatures, who fight dragons and flame skulls.
I have to say being a Disney adult is a blessing but it can be a curse. The one thing I am proud of: I have a Disney tattoo that I got back in 2020 after everything started to reopen with Covid and it’s one of my favorites. Disney helped me get through Covid and it also helped me come to the decision to start working in the hospitality industry
I went twice solo when I was 26 and then 32. I loved it. Youre on your own schedule. Do what you want. Eat what you want. Nothing better than going solo.
I’m a proud childless Disney adult. If waiting 2.5 hours in line to meet Eeyore in his Halloween costume and then crying because you’re so happy to hug him is wrong… then I don’t ever want to be right 😂🤷🏻♀️
I literally do not care if someone thinks I’m cringey at Disney. My heart gets so filled for so many different reasons- not the least of which is seeing all the kids and families having so much fun. Pooh was my favorite as a child- and I cry every single time I see him, ride his ride, or hear the music. Forget the mean people who say Disney is only for kids!❤
I love your videos Molly and I totally agree with you here! :) Honestly seeing this video made me very happy. I’m a young person diagnosed with ADHD and I have a special interest for everything involving Disney parks and other theme parks. Sometimes it hurts knowing that in a year or two very soon a lot of people may consider me “cringey” for something entirely out of my control. But then I remind myself that hating on people for doing something 100% harmless that brings them lots of joy is infinitely more “cringey” than being the person being happy about something. I hope you all can remind yourselves of that too! Keep doing things that make you happy no matter what people say.
Hey! I’m an adult that has adhd (so does my husband and 3 kids) and you get to a point where you don’t care what people who you’ll never see again think. Do things that make you happy!
Seeing other people soooo happy at disney genuinely makes me sooo happy. When I see people of any age happy cry over a magical moment, it fills my heart with joy. Being a disney adult is the best!
I've just shown this to my husband because I want us to go to The Crystal Palace for breakfast on my 40th birthday. He has never been to WDW but I get the impression he is going to be a Disney Adult too ☺️
My partner surprised me with the Pooh and friends character dining 2 weeks ago, for my 60th Birthday. I have been a lifelong fan of A.A Milne / Pooh bear and friends , it's a part of my childhood . Even at my age I still love Pooh, I have pjs, cups and bath mat to name just a few things that are scattered around my home. Did I feel embarrassed hugging the characters whilst having breakfast? Not one bit, I loved it, every single minute. Life sometimes throws not so nice things into our direction and life is short so enjoy the nice bits, hug Pooh, feel like your inner child is about to burst out and love that little bit of magic with a tear in your eye.....I certainly did 💕
Being at Disney is such a nostalgic experience for me. My mom was a Disney fanatic from when she was a little girl until she passed ten years ago. Disney is just in my DNA. Going there as a 43 year old adult just makes me feel close to her. I love it there. In fact I’m getting married there in 24 days! No shame being a Disney adult!
Definitely a Disney adult. I went November of 21 with my daughter for her 22nd birthday. 5 days was magical. Leaving again in 6 days with my other adult daughter (25) for another 5 days in Disney. Having dinner with pooh and friends. Love watching your videos.
I am a disney adult....I think the ones that give everyone else a bad name are the adults who are rude and don't care that there are families and kids there too. Like adults cutting in lines or snatching merch from kids. Those are the people who make me cringe!
Molly, you are all of the positive things about being a Disney adult and none of the negative. We love your brand of Disney Magic. Keep on bringing it girl! 💕
Disney adult here 👋🏼 Last year I decided to leave my company after 10 years and you know what I did…I took myself to Disneyland and celebrated my new found freedom with all of the Disney magic and laughter. It was pure silliness and honestly…very healing.
Love it! Some people are so miserable. What’s wrong with loving something that makes you happy? I enjoy Disney but I am a full on Harry Potter nerd, and I will run around in my Hogwarts robes next time I go to Universal and could not give two hoots what people think! I regularly wear my Gryffindor quidditch jumper in the “real world” too, I find it’s a good way to meet other Potter fans (who seem to be a universally friendly bunch!). Loud and proud 👍🏻
I never been to D W I'm 63 I remember them kids with the ears dancing around on TV when I was a kid and the show on Sunday night and that was enough for me
I grew up regularly going to Disneyland it was just a part of the magic of childhood. Fast forward to my mid twenties having probably not gone for a decade, revisited the park with my parents and other adult siblings. I didn't anticipate breaking into weeping tears the moment I saw the iconic castle, but there you go. The tears were of joy and nostalgia flooding my being, and I'm not going to be ashamed of that.
The one of the things I love about you is that you do be are all Disney adult with child heart. My kids would always say " mom you need to act like an adult"" . Yet unlike some adults you are still very nice and polite about how and what you do unlike some adults were have encountered. Thanks for all you do and show
Love you Molly. I’m 61 and I’ve gone to DisneyWorld 5 times in the past 5 yrs. with my daughter, her husband and my 4 grandsons. Even went there 41 years ago with my husband on our honeymoon. Never too old.
Honestly you did the right thing by just showing you don’t care! Disney adults are literally super harmless and just enjoying their lives- I personally find nothing wrong with it!
This was sooo sweet. I love Disney as an adult. I did start crying whe I met Cinderella a few years back (I was an adult then too). I don’t know what came over me. But it was wonderful.
I mean... Universal's Island of Adventure is one of my favorite places in the entire world, and I can tell you that that park is enjoyable for kids and adults alike. It has some very extreme rides, it's a lot of fun. And since Orlando is 10 hours away from where I live, when I go there I visit all Disney's parks too. Some rides are clearly meant for a younger audience, but not all of it. It doesn't have anything to do with "lost childhood" or anything like that, it's just a fun and beautiful place all around, full of references of movies that I really like (Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Avatar and so on). Magic Kingdom's Space and Splash Mountain are great, and so is the Haunted House. Same goes for the Hollywood Tower or the Everest. Amusement parks are there to... amuse. I don't know who the heck came up with the idea that enjoying these is childish. Probably someone that never went to a Disney park to begin with lol
I cry when I meet characters. I cry when I watch the fireworks. Heck I cry the moment I’m back on property. I definitely cry after going through the turnstiles at the parks…
I work with dementia patients and one of the things that it has taught me is, life is too short! Do what makes you happy, as long as it’s not hurting anyone! We only get one shot!
“You eventually drunk drive, crash your car, and go to hell, and I am not sure why they got rid of it” 😂 AMAZING video! I love being a Disney adult. I have to admit that I used to be a little embarrassed of my deep love for all things Disney, because I don’t know anyone in my real world life who feels the same. But now I literally wear my love for Disney on my sleeve, and like Molly, rock my Disney wear outside the theme parks regularly. 😁 Thanks for representing us all so well, Molly! ❤
Rapunzel is my favorite Disney character and I know that I’m gonna CRY like a baby when I meet her one day😅😅I haven’t been to Disney in 11 years… so I really thank you so much for these videos❤ I also used to get Crystal Palace reservations with my mom and dad so you crying meeting them is totally me too, don’t worry😂😂🤣
That's an idea! How about a vlog for Seniors? We love Disney too. Talk to some seniors and do a seniors vlog or series. Just a thought since many seniors have the time and money to enjoy life but might not think of Disney. 😁
Molly, you are so honest and you get it! In a world filled with horror, Disney has always been a safe escape. Keep on being yourself and enjoying your best life Molly!❤
I was raised visiting and loving Disney. I have been a proud Disney Adult for 30 years. I can check all of the items on your list. Love your videos Molly. Keep them coming.
I grew up very poor so sorry wasn't able to go to Disney as a kid. I went first time when I was living in Florida. Went again last year with my husband. And going solo in a few months. Sorry but I'm not going to apologize for doing something I didn't get to when I was a kid. Walt said Disney was for kids and kids at heart! I'm planning to dine at crystal palace just got breakfast reservations. :) So excited.
I am a Disney adult that can’t afford to go to Disney. But I have a membership to my local zoo so I put on my Disney gear and go to the zoo and pretend that I am at Animal Kingdom while my kids are at school. It’s the ultimate cringe, but it makes me happy.😊
As a Disney adult I loved this video and I love the outlook to allow others to embrace their own joy! Thank you Molly for always being such a kind human in a world of not so kind humans.
I don’t get the hate for disney adults. It’s the best. It makes me happy and give me so much joy. My family just don’t get it at all but if me makes me happy it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else
The thing I love about Disney is it is truly magical and you can feel it no matter what age you are. I am 25 and went with my boyfriend who is 31 and we both had the best time. He didn’t necessarily love Disney before but he definitely really likes it and had so much fun. No one judges you at Disney because it is truly for every age. Everyone who we came into contact with at Disney was so kind and I felt absolutely zero shame for my giddy. Walt Disney made his own world for all ages and I am so grateful because it takes away the stresses of normal everyday life. ♥️
Part of me accepting who I am and not caring what other people think about me includes accepting that I'm a proud Disney adult. I recently took a solo trip to Orlando and went to Disney World all by myself, and it was so fun! So Molly I totally agree that it's cringe when people judge others for what makes them happy. 🥳

How very wonderful to be able to honor your younger self 🌟
We got to go to Disney as kids but brought our own food (would go back to parking lot and eat lunch at the car), could not get souvenirs, or pay for any extras. I am blessed that we even got to go, but I still look longingly at the balloons with the Mickey head inside. Someday . . .
I feel you! As a kid we couldn’t afford to go to Disney world. So as an adult, I finally got to go!
This video brought me so much joy. I was smiling the whole time you were having your breakfast. The way the you and the characters were interacting, Tiger knocking over your camera, and then making faces. It's all so pure and I love every single second of it.
Molly, don’t you dare stop showing your true emotions..that’s one of the things that made you so well liked on both channels!
Exactly, let the bullies live their sad represed lives while you enjoy yourself!
Yea they’re sad people themselves so they try everything to suck out the joy out of the ones that are living happy ones
Hey here’s my advice.
I hear you, I don't really feel strange about being alone I just don't enjoy it as much as when I'm with someone.
Xx
I work in a children's hospital and de-stressing as we speak
I have pretty good cringe-dar and this did not set it off. Look adulthood is stressful and everyone needs stress relief and healthy escapism. If wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt and hugging Tigger makes you happy then do it. There are much worse things
I didn’t realize I was a “Disney adult” until I realized I’ve done everything on that list! 😂 I love being a Disney adult! Life is more fun that way!💕
I would say Molly is actually the epitome of disney adults. Our mascot! I put myself in this category as well. Lol
Lol!! I love it
Someone told me in a negative way that it’s a form of escapism.
People just take themselves way too seriously. I personally can’t wait to do a solo Disney adult trip!!! On my bucket list!❤
It's fun to be a Disney Adult. Just be a nice Disney Adult, not an obnoxious one. Fun video Molly.
As a fellow disney adult who goes to Disney by myself, and with my kids too, solo Disney adult trips are amazing!! You do you Molly!!
It changed from going to hell with Mr. Toad to taking an acid trip with Pooh. That spot stays interesting. 😂
I’m a Disney adult! And also, twice a week I get together with a few of my friends and we play make believe and pretend to be magical creatures, who fight dragons and flame skulls.
My Husband and I are unapologetic Disney Adults 🖤It’s our happy place
I have to say being a Disney adult is a blessing but it can be a curse. The one thing I am proud of: I have a Disney tattoo that I got back in 2020 after everything started to reopen with Covid and it’s one of my favorites. Disney helped me get through Covid and it also helped me come to the decision to start working in the hospitality industry
I went twice solo when I was 26 and then 32. I loved it. Youre on your own schedule. Do what you want. Eat what you want. Nothing better than going solo.
Got the Mr Toad popcorn bucket in may lol. Most of these don’t go away
@@katethegreat7333 Thank you for the kind words
Molly, you are such a beautiful, beautiful person. Thank you so much for being you, and doing what you do!
Honestly, I'm jealous of how you interact with the characters. It's magical to watch and I wish I were outgoing enough to do the same
Definitely a Disney adult.
The way Pooh wiggles into his chair was everything.
I don’t think any of it is cringe. It’s nice to see adults tap into their inner child. Life is too short to be serious all the time. 🧡
My Mammoth Club canon is that every character cast member knows who Molly is and gets super pumped when they get to be in a video with her.
Disney adult here 👋🏼
Last year I decided to leave my company after 10 years and you know what I did…I took myself to Disneyland and celebrated my new found freedom with all of the Disney magic and laughter.
“I’m not here to judge” I just love it Molly!
Do what makes you happy! I’m an adult that refuses to grow up. I love so many things including Disney because they bring me a lot of joy.
Molly- I just love you! You are always yourself and never apologize for it. Never change!
I never been to D W I'm 63 I remember them kids with the ears dancing around on TV when I was a kid and the show on Sunday night and that was enough for me
Your Disney Adult list really can apply to any sports fan. They wear team clothes and accessories and would love a picture with the team mascot.
I love you so much for this 🤣🤣 as a MAMFAM member and as a disney adult this is *chef's kiss*
The one of the things I love about you is that you do be are all Disney adult with child heart. My kids would always say " mom you need to act like an adult"" . Yet unlike some adults you are still very nice and polite about how and what you do unlike some adults were have encountered. Thanks for all you do and show
what’s even cringier is another adult crying while watching another adult at Disney 😢😂
Ok am I the only one who cry’s with Molly but also pretends I’m at Disney while she’s there. Characters make me cry.
I cry when I meet characters. I cry when I watch the fireworks. Heck I cry the moment I’m back on property. I definitely cry after going through the turnstiles at the parks…
Yay for Disney adults and the MamFam! 🖤💚🖤
The hubby and I are going to the Crystal Palace for breakfast our first morning of our holiday in January. We can’t wait!!
Molly this video is so creative please keep them coming
I work with dementia patients and one of the things that it has taught me is, life is too short! Do what makes you happy, as long as it’s not hurting anyone! We only get one shot!
“You eventually drunk drive, crash your car, and go to hell, and I am not sure why they got rid of it” 😂
AMAZING video! ❤
Thank you for calling it Downtown Disney as I still can't remember to call it Disney Springs...I also still refer to HS as MGM studios.
There is nothing cringy about embracing who you are. Great post Molly!
Molly, you are so honest and you get it! In a world filled with horror, Disney has always been a safe escape. Keep on being yourself and enjoying your best life Molly!❤
I’m a “Disney Adult” along with my husband, two adult children and son-in-law we are heading to Disney World for New Years. We love Disney.
Molly, it was so nice to meet you at Gideon's! Thank you for being such a great, informative, blogger! We appreciate your videos and all the insight!
Considering your audience I think this video will perform very well 😆
I was raised visiting and loving Disney. I have been a proud Disney Adult for 30 years. I can check all of the items on your list. Love your videos Molly. Keep them coming.
“Even though you want to try to, never grow up.” (Peter Pan)
Thank you, Molly! For making being a Disney Adult a cool thing for all of us! 💗
That made me smile from ear to ear!!! Thank you Molly!❤
