Stephen Arroyo's clinical classic "Astrology Karma and Transformation" is one of my favorites among Jungian psychology books about Astrology. He paints the perfect picture of the Outer or "Trans-Saturnian" planets (Uranus, Neptune,and Pluto) given the time the book came out, and I would like to share some of the book's knowledge with you.
This chapter in particular is concerned with Pluto in its House, and how it can be interpreted.

The alienation from friends and family resonates. Yes. What about what you are, is obstructing what you ought to be. I’ve cut out just about everything from foods to friends, to family members. My Identity now is the realization that I am not my body, so technically there is no identity and you build your own identity.

I forgot where I read it, I think it was one of the many astrology facebook groups on astrology, but one common denominator in natal charts of serial killers was having Pluto in the first house.
Of course this data is like all cows are animals but not all animals are cows.
I'm watching anything Pluto because I recently started the transit square my natal Sun.
So far haven't found a video that is about this specific transit.
As a Taurus I feel blessed to have both Uranus doing its thing and now this Pluto transit.

This is where Pluto is now, for me. With 25 degrees of Capricorn, AND 17 degrees of Aquarius all in my first house. My self identity, and esteem have definitely been over the fire with this transit! I hope to develop myself more before Pluto goes through the 2nd house.

My god that hit home, I’m Pluto 1 h 29,degrees Virgo, Taurus sun in 8h and Scorpio moon in 2h. I had a massive stroke 4 years ago and one of the remaining affects along with physical disability is my inability to control my laughter, I honestly fall over and hurt myself and can’t move from laughter. Thanks this was spot on.

I just ran across your videos and appreciate how in-depth you go. I wondered if you could do a video on Pluto in the 12th and 1st house. I can’t find much at all on this placement and struggle making sense of it. I have Pluto in the 12th house of Virgo with Pluto conjunct my Libra ascendant moon in Scorpio in the 2nd. I’m also a cancer sun. I feel like my life has been a walking conflict-ions of contradictions. All my life has felt like this inner Fight between right/wrong/left/right lol!!

Pluto Rising in Leo here. It was crying I successfully vowed to never do again, although I sometimes wonder how healthy that's been. Dispositor Sun in Cancer in the 12th, Moon in Taurus squaring Pluto from the 10th. What's kept me alive so far is knowing that how we live is how we die, and how we die is how our rebirth goes. We can't just get off the ride because we want to. We have to learn how, or perhaps we have to unlearn how not to. Btw, "dissolve the personality?" What does that even mean?

Dustin i have a question for you! Having Pluto in Sagittarius, in the first house, my rising is Scorpio. How can that be? Since you said in the video that when Pluto is in a sign (when it's in the first house) it becomes the person's ascendant
Your pluto likely still has a 1st house and a 2nd house emphasis combined. The pluto being "Behind" the 2nd cusp gives this a "Campanus 1st house effect;" but Sagittarius is the 2nd sign from Scorpio. Especially if the 2nd house cusp falls in Sagittarius, you should consider that Pluto to have great 2nd house ramifications too, which are being channeled through Jupiter (Scorpio's 2nd house ruler). Mars rules Scorpio's 1st house. So this Pluto is acting deeply through Sag and Jup, not Mars... But again, Pluto is still likely present in your physical aura, being within the 1st house cusp. This is just how astrology is, you have to blend interpretations some times; this is how I would interpret your energy. I recommend checking out Pluto in the 2nd house, too.

Well, my sextrology videos certainly have an element of compatibility to them. I've done videos on scorpio Sun straight man and woman, and also gay/bi man and woman; i've done the same for Aries, Taurus, and Libra, I believe. Check em out! I have Capricorn rising at 14.2 degrees and Aquarius in my first house at 14.3 degrees, my entire birth chart is lined up as if Aquarius is my rising sign, with Pisces in 2nd house. I’ve always been a very deep thinker and lost in my own thoughts.
What house system do you use? I use Whole and porphyry, but they are give different houses.
I use Campanus for the house cusps, and as per Vedic Astrology, I use the equal house system for the bhavas (houses from the ascendant).

I like your style friend 🙂 i recently started studying evolutionary astrology. You see, i was raised in the cult of the Jehovas Witness o this was totally forbidden. Yesterday i realized i had way more religious trauma than i thought and it's blocking me. I am an Aries sun with Aquarius rising in 1st house with a Pisces NN. Pluto just finished with my 12th house and now moves into my 1st. I have this hunger for knowledge, truth but i something is blocking me i suspect my own acquired programming is limiting me. I left religion years ago but religion didn't leave me. I want to be free!

My daughter has this in scorpio conjuct the moon. She does well in learning compassion for others bu as her mom.... holy! I can do nothing right and am to blame for this continually coming out in her.
are you abusive toward one of her siblings or someone else? i noticed that people with heavy pluto usually watched a lot of abuse happen although they themselves weren’t the ones being abused….. this made them feel empathy for the victim but also grow impenetrable walls around themselves so that they themselves would never be the victim, because they saw how sad it was. my ex had pluto in the 1st and although he was never abused, his dad abused his mom. my little sister also has pluto in the 1st, she was never abused but i was and she watched it happen to me. people who were themselves abused will have neptune conjunct the moon or ascendant. people who watched others get abused have pluto conjunct the moon/asc.
Interesting. Yes on the other side of the family she watched a whole lot of psycho abuse. And watched others abuse me emotionally. I often feel it comes at me because I am the only upstanding person in her familly, the safe place to air her discontent. Also with alot of subconscious stress she could mistakenly feel that I was abusive towaard her because it is the onky place in life where she was free to feel anything thus it gets projected upon me when in fact it has other sources where there is no one to come answer to it. An interesting take tho. Thanks!

Yes! Though the house and sign they fall into would also need to be taken into account. The house is a "field;" whereas the lord of a house is an active, dynamic conscious agent. The 1st lord is that through which we express our first house; the health of the 1st house lord by dignity, shad bala, etc, as well as aspects to the house, wiill define whether plutos effects will be auspicious or not. Context always counts! Pluto amplifies the karma of whatever you put it with, for better or worse. A greater challenge is worth it... If you have the dharmic capacity to transmute the ills of the karma!
