The MICA NG is basically the same from the outside as a MICA we already have, but the new and more compact electronics allowed for MBDA to put a second stage motor that act as a sustainer. That sustainer can be saved by the missile computer to improve his maximum range or maintain the 50G thrust vectoring capability in the terminal phase of the trajectory. So a MICA that goes farther, has better tracking and ECCM, and at medium ranges keep the ability to pull crazy G turns. Safe to say it's not coming soon if they plan to model it accurately.
You guys don't need upgraded micas, If you guys need those then we need aim 120C/D variants r73-e1 I think that's the name.. or is it R74? Next generation R77-1

Im thinking with the MICA NG they are probably going to add "next-gen" fox-3s to every nation in some future update since the AIM-120C-5 and R-77-1 are already in the files. They will probably throw in the AAM-4B, I-Derby and maybe the PL-12A (or a very gimped PL-15) to cover the remaining ground then drop them all at once so no nation gets left behind
My theory is that the nezt nations to get those new 14.0 jets will also have the possibility to add new air to air munitions to those new planes and these ones that are just added thats my theory tho

FYI you’re looking at the deck thrust to weight. The Eurofighter engines are specifically designed to function well in low particle space which is why it’s so fast up high. Rafale on the other hand is optimized to function in high particle zones which is why the thrust to weight of the Rafale is better down low. Eurofighter is missing some thrust that’s right but it won’t be the speed machine down low you imagine.
Maximum launch range =/= maximum effective range. Youre taking statistics against a cooperative target approaching you at ideal launch conditions and saying the missile should perform to that metric while launching from much worse conditions and target cooperation
@@sosobel5843wdym aim-120 has a stated operational range of 105-120 km irl. Irl it has way more range than in wt and realistically in way you will only get an 80km kill flying at 12k alt , 2.5 Mach against an ai flying towards you

The lack of dynamic drag coefficients are like a buff for the 120A (and a nerf for stuff like the R-77, since it should have less drag at supersonic speeds)

It's stealth capabilities are really limited anyway , rcs of all planes would be interesting though , comparing ef with tennis court f-15, although ef canards are really bad for stealth
@@FunFishFacts the EF only has a frontal aspect reduced RCS, its only about 0,1-0,5 m² gaijin doesnt implement stealth properly because its to op, no current mechanical scan radar would be abled to lock the EF in a head on or even detect it if it was further away then a few km. the F117 has an even smaler RCS and it still sucks because of balancing reasons which i can kind of understand. im more mad about the lack of the dragable radar emmiter located in the right wing. this thing could have been a nice balanced mechanic since it would only work once or twice untill its destroyed compleatly.
im still mad that the EF didnt get its drag radar jammer / emitter that would have been such a cool thing, but i guess we will get it when gaijin releases the F22 and F35 and then they just forget about the eurofighter as they always do
you might wanna try ru air you will probably uninstall the game. su27/mig29 has the worst flight performance compared to every other 4th gen fighter in game , they also have the least amount of CMs and r77 has worse range than aim120/pl12/derby/mica.
