Sage already is a step up from the mess that was Infinite and an AI of all things, my pfp kinda makes it clear what I really like.
Zero/Infinite is not a mess! He's like Sonic's version of Skull Kid/Majora's Mask as they have both done similar things like make a planet like object Moon and Sun crash into the world in 3 days and have similar backstories and got objects of great power and as Sonic is a LOZ fan.

The games not even out yet and your already dissing it!? How do you know it's bad I hate how you just assume that because it's open world or a 3d sonic game that came after forces that it's bad your blaming forces for making sonic bad when it's fans like you who make people think the game is bad. Don't diss something that you've only seen trailers for.

you didn’t watch the whole trailer and you already hate it, why do people have such high expectations when it comes to Sonic games? But then games as weird as “Mario Golf: Super Rush” get met with high praise. Because it’s Mario and he is always good with his games, but I bet if people had THAT high expectations for Mario everything could be different. Mario would release “Super Mario Odyssey” but everybody would call the trailer crap and not realize while playing the game that it’s actually pretty good. But since Sonic 06 everybody has rarely every thought sonic games would actually be good because “the internet said so.” It’s SEGAs franchise and because everybody won’t give Sonic a chance, this might be the last Sonic game. Think of it, after Sonic Forces, we didn’t get a main line sonic game in 5 YEARS. So please complete the trailer and think what you think. I respect your opinion but at least just finish the trailer!
Dude, I think you've got nothing to worry about. Sonic makes SEGA so much money that they would never stop making him. Also, the reason why Sonic fans have such high expectations? Blame the 2D games and Sonic Adventure 2. The Angry Video Game Nerd said it best in his Sonic '06 review. Sonic games usually "qualify as games, but the problem is they need to be masterpieces because it's Sonic the Hedgehog." Fans can't accept that Sonic peaked at SA2 and expect SEGA to make games just as good as that and the Genesis games if not better. Mario games are all the same and Mario fans just accept what they have. Sonic games have tried to push boundaries, and if it's not what fans like, they complain. Still, Sonic sells, so even if the whole trailer isn't finished, lots of other people are looking at the trailer. So no worries there.
I do Think frontiers is heading in the right Direction. Despite the not so good marketing and Reuse of Old stages in cyberspace.
