An upper blepharoplasty can be done in-office at our Palo Alto location. It is a fairly simple procedure that gives our Bay Area patients more youthful eyes. This procedure involves removing excess skin from the upper eyelid along with a nasal fat pad, and the suturing up the new, rejuvenated eyelid. It takes about 90 minutes to complete and the downtime is quite minimal compared to other surgical procedures.
Patients are drawn to this procedure when they notice that their eyes are having a hooded appearance. This tends to make the eyes look heavy and patients tend to look tired. This is great for patients who have busy lives and want to be able to have a little refresh without taking too much time off.
