The One edp, everyday, all year long foe me ( in my rotation). It’s a little feminine, but it smells nice. I have had zero luck with Prada L’homme. It’s very, very feminine. Total unisex. I have a couple of stories, let’s just say this was not well received (but it does smell very nice). My everyday frag is Mugler Cologne at the top, #2 is Guerlain Vetiver. Most people hate Guerlain Vetiver on me, no one more than my wife, but I love it. #3 is Oscar Pour Lui. It’s a fall winter frag, but in its current formulation it’s good for daily and I also wear it to the office and year around in my rotation.
As you picked up Allure Homme in your hands, the vibe that you projected, even without discribing it !!! Enough for me, to go for it ☺️☺️ I have Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme.

I totally agree with you on MFK Gentle fluidity. I got a free tester with my last order. I didn't know what to think at first when I've put it on a paper strip but after a while it became very interesting. So the next day I tried it on my skin and well it blew my mind! Since then I'm addicted to that scent and I'm for sure going to buy the full bottle. It's insanely good. It's fresh, soapy, a bit aromatic and a bit sweet but in a very unique yet likeable way. I actually like the fact that there is no citrus or no obvious citrusnote which makes this parfum even more interesting to my nose. It's a great everyday scent but could also easily be a signature scent throughout the year. It's in my top 3 summer fragrances after Artisan Pure and Blue de Chanel (even though I don't have a full bottle yet). Thank you for your Video!

I find Le Male and Reflection Man to smell very similar. Reflection Man just seems to have a more floral vibe and is smoother and more elegant. I decided to spray both on separate arms after watching this just to confirm my previous thoughts. Also I love Gentle Fluidity, it is likely my next purchase after Aventus Cologne which I admittedly like quite a bit. I got my decant only a month ago and it is almost empty.
Great vid Josephine. Fantastic list, I agree pretty much with everything u have said here. Prada L'home, D&G The One EDP are so beautifully blended. Reflection Man by Amouage is phenomenal in my opinion, it is very beautifully blended with heavy base of sandalwood, that with white florals makes the perfumery very transparent.
I’m just going to start setting aside a Chanel fund. I tried out the Allure’s & the BDCs. I see the Allure is probably more versatile & it’s very nice & subtle. But I just couldn’t stop smelling the Allure Eau extreme.

Ok , ive been in the fragrance game looong time ago, smelled most of the designers out there and let me tell you while shopping at zara i stop by there fragrance section and tested Vibrant leather and automatically knew this was a "great" cheapie and bought it for my friend for his birthday. he got more compliments than me and i was wearing a good designer fragrance! great list !
Dolce & Gabbana The One EDP sounds appealing to me. I do love spicy fragrances especially with tobacco and cardamom, I believe YSL nuit lhomme also has cardamom in it. I believe my Ulta store has The One, so I'll definitely check it out. I also love Chanel especially Bleu De Chanel but you made me curious about Allure Homme, so hope I can check it someday, maybe for next spring.
My new everyday ( or many/most days ) Josephine, is Versace The Dreamer. Not a new discovery but I've rather warmed to it in these past weeks. It is quite unique I find, loving the herbal character as well as the unmistakable note of Iris. As you once rightly testified, it has good longevity and doesn't break the bank!!

Both Chanels in your list -know just how to perform, switching up occassions and weather conveniently. I'm always up for your suggestions on fig-based scents. Recently picked up CHANEL Allure Pour Homme based on the incessant 😜 talking about it on your channel. I never would’ve considered this fragrance because Eau Extreme gets all the love, but I must say, I love it for all the reasons you mention. I can put it on in the morning knowing I’ll smell unique. As autumn approaches, I’m looking forward to wearing it a lot more. Love your videos, keep them up.
I wear suit and CD Eau Sauvage EDT everyday, and I feel so confortable. and I always recive compliments, people like it and personaly, I love it. Some days I wear Geo F. Trumper Eucris EDP, I love drive my car and feel the fragance around me (I´m crazy I know). On weekends Reflection or Blue EDT. Dinner or special occasions depend on the mood ;).
"gentle Fluidity (Silver)" is a masterpiece from Kurkdjian (together with APOM Homme and Lumière Noire Homme). It's a great alternative to other fruity and woody perfumes (Aventus, Percival, Elysium) with a very fair price. But I think, you have to be carful with the dose, because it's extremly potent. I only use two sprays. Actually I brood to buy "Reflection Man". I really like floral perfumes, but I already own "APOM Homme" and "Lumière Noire Homme". I'm not sure I really need the scent.
Hello Joséphine, Great video, like always. Well done ! 💪😁 But i have to disagree with one of your recommandation. If i were you, i would'nt recommand D&G "The One". Yes, it smells very good, but it's absolutely not an "Everyday" fragrance. It don't last very long, and it's more a "date type" fragrance in my opinion. Also, I have this fragrance in my collection, and i don't use it in day time because of his weak performance. The smell is out after 4h. However, i agree with your other recommandations. You are right about the performance, only last couple of hours and hardly project, nowadays most of D&G perfumes have weak performance and majority of them have been water-down, not worth buying.
Great video, as always! I love that you pick different, less mainstream scents! Sure BDC is popular, but in other lists it would've been Dior Sauvage. Allure Homme would 100% be the Sport Edition! (Btw, have you tried AH Edition Blanche yet? It's on my list for quite some time now but I had no chance to smell it in person yet)

One that I have tried which you recommended in another video is Gypsy Water - a great fragrance. One fragrance I just received - not sure if you have smelled it, but I really like it - Eight and Bob, Nuit de Megeve. It's unisex with vetiver, coffee, tonka, tobacco, musk...it's really nice and elegant.

Great choices ! I love, love, love Amouage Reflection Man, as well as Lyric Man ! Although, if I had to settle on a signature scent, it would be Houbigant Fougere Royale (edp). It's getting harder to find, but is really a great Fougere to sport year round. (I have 3 bottles) BTW, nice lighting in the early part of this video. Thank you sharing :D

I didn't put attention to the Allure Homme line from Chanel until I saw your reviews. Nonetheless, today I went to the nearest local department store and tested the original Allure Homme. Needless to say, I purchased it. Thank you so much for doing videos like this one, your ideas and taste in fragrances have helped me to grow a refined collection.
The opening of Prada l'homme is kinda 'feminine' and it's something in the top notes when spraying it I don't quite like, but the afternoon drydown become more soft and warm which is very nice.
Fantastic video!! I loved D&G The One (both EDT and EDP) when I tried those. When it comes to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrem, I own a big bottle and I really don’t like it, it’s too strong and just flat all the way through. Not sure if I should then try Allure Homme.
Like your video with choices of mainstream fragrance and I am glad that you finally got your bottle of Gentle Fluidity :) Among the designers, I like the D&G One, Bleu de Chanel, Guerlain Vetiver and Dior Eau Sauvage; JPG Le Male is nice but not unique anymore so its kind of ignored in my collection. Among the niche, for everyday, I definitely agree with Reflection Man and would add MFK Aqua Vitalis Forte, Mancera Cedrat Boise, Acua Di Parma Club Colonia or PDM Percival.
Jus de Rose Yes, it is but somehow the bottle I have doesn’t last Long so I just respray after 2-3 hours :) Btw, it’s great that you take the effort to reply to every comment unlike lot of other Frag UA-camrs, and that’s the reason your subscriber count will grow leaps n bounds!
I don't have one in particular but lately Frank Antoine Barrois Ganymede, G&B Bohemian Lime and TF Oud Minerale are the ones that I've been using more often.
Prada l'Homme is the one I use everyday because it makes me fell good with myself. I used Ultramale and I received a compliment by a girl that I like but I would never wear it for everyday use like the Prada. What do you think about the Intense version? Thanks!
I always loved Dolce & Gabbana The One EDT & EDP, but even the EDP's performance was lacking, considering it was a scent meant for fall/winter. It always left me wanting more. Then I stumbled upon Maison Margiela's Jazz Club... instant replacement in the lineup for me. It reminds me a lot of The One but better performance and a bit more complex in the dry down. Boss Bottled Intense EDP is probably my favorite of everything listed (that I have tried). It smells similar to the opening of PDM Layton, with some hints of Jazz Club or The One in the middle and dry down ending... very nice scent, great performance. If people dont wanna spend a lot and get their bang for their buck for a great warm fall/winter frag - this is it, hands down.
Here in Australia, I can get "the one" for $70 100ml. "Jazz club" will cost me $140. So, even if Jazz club is better, is it $70 better? I feel the same with explorer. $70 versus $250. If it gets me 90% there, I'll stick with the cheaper option. Hence, why I'll wear a Seiko, Fossil or Timex over an omega or Tissot. Just not a flash guy, and can't come up with a good reason to spend over $100 on a cologne. I say that, as I spent $140 on a 30ml perfume for my wife on Christmas.
Think I've told you before Josephine, but i love Alure, its so so classy, as is prada lomme. Oh, just received BOSS Bottled Intence too, lovely stuff and got it discounted for £35 so double whammy! Stay safe. X
Great recommendation as always... Josephine you gotta try Fort and Manle (Australia). I want to see a review from you/ your perspective on their entrees I mean. Maduro and Charlatan are my best picks so far but they have a hefty line-up for the niche world.
I heard Vibrant Leather Metal wasn't too bad and I just saw the Winter flanker appear! Papyrus and sandalwood listed in that one. I wonder what it'll be close to? Red Truffle 21 sounds interesting!
Hi Jus I own Bleu de Chanel EDP which is a bit more dressier than the EDT wich comes with more bright accords, hope you agree. Now, Reflection Man, ufff, a Date fragance and also a fresh quality option for not very hot days and great for late afternoon and even dinner time. The one I do suggest you is that I've weared Prada L'Homme a lot, but at this moment love more the L'eau version, which is freshier and truly mass appealing for wearing with a nice Jacket. Chanel Allure has been one of the perfume loves of my life for twenty years this year. It has always drawn compliments quietly and consistently. The flankers are all good ( I loved the original EDTC version of Edition Blanche in particular) but none have ever knocked the original off its perch. Allure on a cold winter's day with clear blue sky is one of life's sensory wonders. I'm looking forward to the next twenty years with it.

Recently bought Prada L'Homme and it quickly became my everyday sent. The others in my rotation are Bleu de Chanel Parfum, ADG Profumo, and last but certainly not least YSL L'Homme which was the first sent that really got me into perfume -sadly the reformulation just isn't the same :(

I used to listen to what my ex partners advised on these matters but I never really liked what they thought was great. I honestly don't think women really know what a man wants and make bad choices on our behalf. I choose my own products based purely on what I like and guess what..Women often compliment me at work on my choices, but I never tell them what I'm wearing, I leave them guessing. You are right about the performance, only last couple of hours and hardly project, nowadays most of D&G perfumes have weak performance and majority of them have been water-down, not worth buying.

Looking at my collection - a few that I can wear everyday include: Creed Aventus, Creed Original Santal, Parfums de Marly Darly, Parfums de Marly Percival, Parfums de Marly Layton, as well as Byredo Bal D'Afrique. I also love Dior Homme Eau as an everyday fragrance.

One that I have tried which you recommended in another video is Gypsy Water - a great fragrance. One fragrance I just received - not sure if you have smelled it, but I really like it - Eight and Bob, Nuit de Megeve. It's unisex with vetiver, coffee, tonka, tobacco, musk...it's really nice and elegant.

Although, if I had to settle on a signature scent, it would be Houbigant Fougere Royale (edp). It's getting harder to find, but is really a great Fougere to sport year round. (I have 3 bottles)

I didn't put attention to the Allure Homme line from Chanel until I saw your reviews. Nonetheless, today I went to the nearest local department store and tested the original Allure Homme. The opening of Prada l'homme is kinda 'feminine' and it's something in the top notes when spraying it I don't quite like, but the afternoon drydown become more soft and warm which is very nice.
Fantastic video!! I loved D&G The One (both EDT and EDP) when I tried those. When it comes to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrem, I own a big bottle and I really don’t like it, it’s too strong and just flat all the way through. Not sure if I should then try Allure Homme.

Like your video with choices of mainstream fragrance and I am glad that you finally got your bottle of Gentle Fluidity :) Among the designers, I like the D&G One, Bleu de Chanel, Guerlain Vetiver and Dior Eau Sauvage; JPG Le Male is nice but not unique anymore so its kind of ignored in my collection. Among the niche, for everyday, I definitely agree with Reflection Man and would add MFK Aqua Vitalis Forte, Mancera Cedrat Boise, Acua Di Parma Club Colonia or PDM Percival.

I always loved Dolce & Gabbana The One EDT & EDP, but even the EDP's performance was lacking, considering it was a scent meant for fall/winter. It always left me wanting more. Then I stumbled upon Maison Margiela's Jazz Club... instant replacement in the lineup for me. It reminds me a lot of The One but better performance and a bit more complex in the dry down.
Boss Bottled Intense EDP is probably my favorite of everything listed (that I have tried). It smells similar to the opening of PDM Layton, with some hints of Jazz Club or The One in the middle and dry down ending... very nice scent, great performance. If people dont wanna spend a lot and get their bang for their buck for a great warm fall/winter frag - this is it, hands down.
WORD. You’re spot on with the Layton comparison. Jazz club is fantastic!
Here in Australia, I can get "the one" for $70 100ml. "Jazz club" will cost me $140. So, even if Jazz club is better, is it $70 better? I feel the same with explorer. $70 versus $250. If it gets me 90% there, I'll stick with the cheaper option. Hence, why I'll wear a Seiko, Fossil or Timex over an omega or Tissot. Just not a flash guy, and can't come up with a good reason to spend over $100 on a cologne. I say that, as I spent $140 on a 30ml perfume for my wife on Christmas.

Hi Jus I own Bleu de Chanel EDP which is a bit more dressier than the EDT wich comes with more bright accords, hope you agree. Now, Reflection Man, ufff, a Date fragance and also a fresh quality option for not very hot days and great for late afternoon and even dinner time. The one I do suggest you is that I've weared Prada L'Homme a lot, but at this moment love more the L'eau version, which is freshier and truly mass appealing for wearing with a nice Jacket. Chanel Allure has been one of the perfume loves of my life for twenty years this year. It has always drawn compliments quietly and consistently. The flankers are all good ( I loved the original EDTC version of Edition Blanche in particular) but none have ever knocked the original off its perch. Allure on a cold winter's day with clear blue sky is one of life's sensory wonders. I'm looking forward to the next twenty years with it.

Recently bought Prada L'Homme and it quickly became my everyday sent. The others in my rotation are Bleu de Chanel Parfum, ADG Profumo, and last but certainly not least YSL L'Homme which was the first sent that really got me into perfume -sadly the reformulation just isn't the same :(

I used to listen to what my ex partners advised on these matters but I never really liked what they thought was great. I honestly don't think women really know what a man wants and make bad choices on our behalf. I choose my own products based purely on what I like and guess what..Women often compliment me at work on my choices, but I never tell them what I'm wearing, I leave them guessing. BTW, bet I don't get a silly heart like the comment simps get.
