Belonging to Sawantwadi,Maharashtra, Smt.Jayashree Patnekar has recieved extensive taleem from the reverend Guru,Pandit Gajananbuwa Joshi in the Agra-Jaipur-Gwalior style and is one of the seniormost disciple of the same.
She has also taken guidance from Pandit Ratnakar Pai and Pandit Nivruttibuwa Sarnaik in the Jaipur Atrauli Gharana.
She is a regular artiste of AIR .Jayashreetai has participated in prestigious concerts and music festivals in India and abroad.
She is also a great music guru and takes up disciples from India for advanced training in Hindustani vocal music genre.
