I've seen three of these: The Ravenous; Pontypool and The Battery, all of which are excellent. I would recommend the addition of The Girl with All the Gifts to the list.
Here’s an idea of a zombie apocalypse movie(it could be good or straight up horrible to the point I would sit in a corner and cry for hours anyway). This movie will be called “The High School of Hell” or any other name. The movie takes place in a high school. Inside the campus, a whole class of twenty-three 15,16, and 17 year old students are given detention by their teacher. The main protagonist, Carver, gets tired and decides to get some shut-eye only to wake up to the sound of a horrifying screech. At first, the class doesn’t know what’s going on and Carver gets up out of his seat to investigate only to be stopped by the teacher who tells him to sit back down and she goes to investigate. Meanwhile, the students begin to talk about getting out of class and going home until the class nerd, Tamara, now spots the now zombified teacher who comes bolting towards her and Carver get out his pocket knife and stabs the zombified teacher in the skull, killing her instantly as Tamara is thankful for him saving his life. The students are absolutely horrified as the school bully, James, is also scared shitless. Carver has blood across his face and his shirt. Next thing the students knew, the power is out in the school and the reserved power automatically turns on. Meanwhile, Carver goes to unlock the main entrance only to be locked by chains and he remembers seeing a pair of bolt cutters in the janitor’s closet. Meanwhile, Tamara is now scared as fuck as she begins to follow Carver. Carver manages to pick the lock to the janitor’s closet with the help of a paper clip and a bobby pin. Carver gets the pair of bolt cutters and goes to unlock the main entrance only to hear that same horrifying screech and this time, it’s the janitor who is now zombified and he comes bolting towards Carver as he attempts to get his pocket knife. Carver struggles with him and he is almost bit until Tamara stabs the janitor with a screwdriver. Carver proceeds to unlock the main entrance until James the school bully, now shitting himself at this point, begins to explain to Carver why he was bullying people and basically James’s father was a drug addict who abused him severely and James let out all of his anger on those who didn’t harm him, but Carver explains to James that whoever what he was before doesn’t matter anymore as this is a fight for survival. Carver opens the main entrance and find the city in ruins. The students are shocked by what they saw. Meanwhile, Carver spots some military and police vehicles and with the help of Carver’s expert lock picking skills, they find a truck load of weapons, ammo, food, medicine, and water. But these supplies will only last them about three to six months. Carver decides to pick up a handgun, a combat knife, and a tactical belt which can hold 7 to 10 pistol magazines, while James and his four friends pick up assault rifles and tactical vests along with a sledgehammer, a fire axe, a butcher’s cleaver, and a claw hammer. And Tamara and the rest of the students begin to carry the three to six months worth of supplies to the school. And these kids decide in order to survive, they must work together and form a set of rules: Rule 1: Do not kill each other, otherwise you will be kicked out of the school, forced to survive on your own. Rule 2: Only eat what is given to you and the amount rationed because supplies are limited and we have to ration as much as we can. Rule 3: Do not traverse or travel outside the school at midnight because that’s when zombies will crowd up the streets. Rule 4: Do not travel alone and only travel in groups of 2, 3, or 4 people. Rule 5: Do not fire your guns for any reason because guns are loud, guns waste ammo and even though you have a truckload of ammo, your ammo is a finite resource, and guns draw the attention of zombies. Only use guns as a last resort against zombies and until then, you will only use melee weapons. Rule 6: Everyone must be given a temperature check thanks to thermometers and other medical supplies found in the supplies, and if you show any signs of infection ranging from strange behavior, fever, coughing up blood, and lung problems, you will be immediately executed, quarantined, or be kicked off the school to survive on your own. Meanwhile, the students are boarding up the windows and the main and side entrance to the school. Markus heads to the basement of the school to find a TV and the remote which surprisingly still works and is in good condition, despite being in covered in dust. Then midnight arrives and everyone sleeps. At 7AM, Carver, along with James and Tamara, decide to scavenge for supplies and they happen to find a grocery store near the school. After a couple of hours of scavenging later, they managed to come back to the school find a lot of food, water, and medicine. Jacob, the smart kid of the class, decides to go to the roof of the school as a scouting area and finds a flashlight and a pair of binoculars. Meanwhile, Carver goes to the roof in search of materials and he finds scrap metal, butane tanks, and metal framing. Carver uses the front office of the school as a workshop and he actually makes a makeshift flamethrower. Meanwhile, zombies are bombarding the school. The zombie types in this movie are Biters, Sprinters, Gas tanks, and the Goon. Biters are just sitting ducks waiting to die and since they can’t run, see, or hear, they will only follow what they smell meaning a chopped off zombie arm that is thrown will attract a Biter. Sprinter zombies are more agile and faster than Biters and they can run. But their weakest parts of their bodies are their legs and head meaning you can chop off a zombie leg and their head. Gas Tank zombies are zombies that are in a hazmat suit and they are impervious to damage by melee weapons. Their weak spots are the visor which can be shot off with a gun or destroy their gas tanks which will cause a loud explosion. Goons are the most dangerous type of zombie. They are armed with a concrete rebar that’s like a giant hammer. The Goons however are extremely slow and their weak spot is their backs which contain a yellow, strange pus that if attacked, the Goons will die and collapse. These zombies can also be burned or exploded to death so a makeshift bomb like IEDS or Improvised Explosive Devices or a Molotov Cocktail will do the job for large groups of these enemies. Markus tells the group of kids that they found a TV and turn it on and a news broadcast about a widespread epidemic has arrived. Police, firefighters, and ambulance services are unavailable. The military will enforce martial law in the next three weeks. Three weeks later, a military vehicle arrives at the school and the commander knocks on the door. The kids find the military offering a deal with the kids to exchange 1/3 of their supplies in exchange for their lives.The kids decide to give them some of the supplies and the military leaves. The kids come up with a plan to get out of the school until the TV turns on and another news broadcast arrives about Colorado opening their borders to any survivors they can find but they will open in the next three months. Carver also goes outside to find the zombified bus driver and he kills it. He then takes his keys and takes the school bus but the bus is missing a bus battery and fuel. Now midnight has arrived again and the kids go to sleep. At daylight, with Carver, James, and Tamara, now going on the highway to siphon fuel and find a battery for the bus, he decides to siphon abandoned cars left on the highway and to Carver’s luck, they have a bit of fuel left. Along the way, he finds a blue bus and he goes to siphon fuel from the bus and surprisingly, the bus’s fuel canister is half-empty so he siphons it to get 3 tanks of diesel. While he’s doing that, a homeless man named Doug has the same idea. Carver eventually comes back to the school for three tanks of diesel and fills up the school bus only for Jacob to find a homeless man standing outside the school. The kids meet in the faculty office and they come up with a vote for letting in or disbanding the new survivor and the majority agree to let him in. Doug comes into the school and gets a can of beans he found in a supermarket out of his backpack only to be questioned by Carver about why did he live in a car and Doug says that he lost his house, his wife and kids to a zombie invasion and he is now homeless because of it and he’s trying to find fuel for his black SUV in order to get to Colorado. A few months of living, scavenging, and killing zombies later, the military has now set up highway patrol units and setting up military checkpoints. Carver, now filling up the bus with the remaining fuel he has and reserving two tanks of fuel just in case the bus loses fuel. Meanwhile, the kids are watching TV until a new broadcast that the remaining survivors of Salt Lake City must evacuate the infected area immediately before the next invasion arrives. The kids load the remaining supplies and the things they have into the bus and all 23 kids step on board. Carver then proceeds to drive the bus to Colorado and the journey is long and hard but in the end, the military open the gates to Colorado and the kids eventually go to a survivor town called Union. Carver eventually parks the bus and these kids get a place where they can finally call home and the movie ends. Edit: just realized this could be also called “Last Day in Hell” or “Last Day on Earth” or “The Darkest Hour” or we can stick to the name I have? Train to busan is the greatest and scariest one. Made me tensed that they will survive or not. At last made me cry by seeing the big love between father and daughter.
They're okay not the best tho.... "The Night Eats The World" is one I just found, had me on edge the whole movie... none of the Korean zombies movies create that airy atmosphere that a survival zombie horror film should have, they are good tho.. great characters, great story, but they're just not creepy/scary enough

Saw them all, damn I'm a zombie connoisseur. I also commented that The Battery was areally good indie movie, and recommended it to people on Twitter on the Army of the Dead promotion, and I got a thumbs up, and when i checked out by whom, it was the actual star/actor/producer/director of the actual MOVIE!!! That was pretty awesome!
I am hero is honestly so good! I think its super scary that the zombies talk! I like The Night Eats The World too as the zombies don't groan! Instead the directors use of sound makes the zombies rapidly fumbling loud footsteps sound terrifying contrast to the bleak some what peaceful quiet.

If you ever want to see a zombie movie with heart "meaning one thats not instantly torn out and eaten in the beginning of the film" then may I recommend the movie "Maggie" starting of all people Arnold Schwarzenegger. No he doesnt come in like some superhero action star but instead a deeply moving flick about a father who cant let go as his dying daughter slowly turns into a zombie but retains her humanity for as long as she can. Then to lighten the mood but still stick with the zombie theme I suggest Anne and the Apocalypse. You will laugh then cry after seeing a zombie movie set at Christmas in a small English town. Touching ending but also action packed as well. Greatly underrated IMO.
The fact that how most zombie apocalypse movies shows Humans so defenseless against zombies that it is almost disgusting I mean there are literally so many ways to defend against them and make a zombie proof civilization and they are not some earth shattering inventions, we have been using them for most of history really a walled city on a mountain with a thousand archers and a couple of hundred knights should easily be able to survive most of attacks, a full body iron or even a leather armor or even a light armor can take care of almost all the easy to reach bite able areas and a two handed or even a single handed sword can easily mow down hordes of zombies (they can't really move with their spinal cord damaged which should be much more easy to break considering they don't have a maintenance system in body that keeps it flexible) and a thousands arrow attack by a thousand archers should be able to atleast disable if not kill a zombie hoard and on top of that they don't even need to aim or even be on the wall and they just need it fire it in general direction which means they atleast will be able to fire 1 arrow per 3 seconds and on top of that whatever you take, a bow, a sword, a spear, a club, a war hammer, a shield, a catapult, a halberd won't make more noise than the zombie itself.
@@anythingfootball197 yeah and just because a new breed of animal that at full speed is even slower than a walking rat, have bone more easy to break than a dried twig and have intelligence lower than a bacteria appeared that I doubt will be able to survive with that weak body long enough to see a single animal without tripping to death, humans a social animal which is known for easily able to make bonds with each other will suddenly go crazy unable to work together and seriously they just need to make one walled city which doesn't even have to be big or tall and doesn't even have to be opaque as a big and wide fence with around 1000 people living inside it will be enough to face any kind of zombie attack be it 50 zombies or 500 bows will take care of them not to mention that it won't make any sound and this is effective we tested it for thousands of years on a species much more powerful than a zombie called homo sapiens in fact it makes so less sound that then need to purposefully make a lot of sound somehow to announce it the beginning.
I feel like that would take alot of rigorous preemptive planning. The way i see it: if a zombie outbreak was to occur it'd be difficult to take such measures on the off chance that the government was forthcoming about the impending apocalypse. I have little faith that the government would be transparent in a situation like that. Also. Imagine the mass panic a zombie outbreak would produce. There is a small percentage of people that would be able to maintain their sanity in a zombie apocalypse and due to that mass panic i believe would lessen the chance that people in a given place would be able to strategize a plan of action such as that. I could be wrong. It would all come down to the ability of people to act rationally in a situation such as this.
@@tevinmuse1258 but that's only till initial outbreak also it isn't like those kind of structure are rare as the forts built in the past that were not destroyed during ww2 or ww1 or colonial period are still there as monuments and for this reason they are still properly maintained and you just need some bows and swords after that and you got yourself a very safe shelter and also I doubt zombies can pust through and break thousands of blocks of dimension 1m×0.5m×0.25m attached to each other and only concern would be the gates but then again those gates were powerful enough to survive being hit by a 500kg log and still stand and also let's not forget about those islands forts with a bridge gate where you don't even need a bow or sword.

About 10 years ago, I saw a zombie-oriented movie, but I can't find its name when I look for it now. I searched UA-cam and other websites but could not find it. The story was that a young man and an old man are running away from zombies. Then they reach a house in the forest where all the zombies are dead. Then, from the roof of a young girl's house, she shoots an arrow at this boy with a bow, but it doesn't hit him. They then go to the house, and this boy and that girl fall in love, after a few days, the three of them go out of that house. Then a mutated zombie gets involved with them. He follows Them and gets into a fight with an old man and kills him. Then this boy and girl kill that mutated zombie. Let me tell you that the name of the movie is not zombieland.
Can somebody maybe tell me the name of this movie: There is a man trying to save his family(wife and son) in an zombie apocalype that is being broadcasted by an Antenna(and it stared via phones radios and tv) the it evolved into just sound which the zombies could emmit trough their vocal cords. The man has constant visions(dreams specifically) of the MAIN zombie leader as he gets closer and closer to the Antenna, at the ends when he makes it to the Antenna he finds hundreds of Zombies circling the Antenna and finds his son there, but it was too late and he himself becomes a Zombie.

Carver also goes outside to find the zombified bus driver and he kills it. He then takes his keys and takes the school bus but the bus is missing a bus battery and fuel. Now midnight has arrived again and the kids go to sleep. At daylight, with Carver, James, and Tamara, now going on the highway to siphon fuel and find a battery for the bus, he decides to siphon abandoned cars left on the highway and to Carver’s luck, they have a bit of fuel left. Along the way, he finds a blue bus and he goes to siphon fuel from the bus and surprisingly, the bus’s fuel canister is half-empty so he siphons it to get 3 tanks of diesel. While he’s doing that, a homeless man named Doug has the same idea. Carver eventually comes back to the school for three tanks of diesel and fills up the school bus only for Jacob to find a homeless man standing outside the school. The kids meet in the faculty office and they come up with a vote for letting in or disbanding the new survivor and the majority agree to let him in. Doug comes into the school and gets a can of beans he found in a supermarket out of his backpack only to be questioned by Carver about why did he live in a car and Doug says that he lost his house, his wife and kids to a zombie invasion and he is now homeless because of it and he’s trying to find fuel for his black SUV in order to get to Colorado. A few months of living, scavenging, and killing zombies later, the military has now set up highway patrol units and setting up military checkpoints. Carver, now filling up the bus with the remaining fuel he has and reserving two tanks of fuel just in case the bus loses fuel. Meanwhile, the kids are watching TV until a new broadcast that the remaining survivors of Salt Lake City must evacuate the infected area immediately before the next invasion arrives. The kids load the remaining supplies and the things they have into the bus and all 23 kids step on board. Carver then proceeds to drive the bus to Colorado and the journey is long and hard but in the end, the military open the gates to Colorado and the kids eventually go to a survivor town called Union. Carver eventually parks the bus and these kids get a place where they can finally call home and the movie ends.

Saw them all, damn I'm a zombie connoisseur. I also commented that The Battery was areally good indie movie, and recommended it to people on Twitter on the Army of the Dead promotion, and I got a thumbs up, and when i checked out by whom, it was the actual star/actor/producer/director of the actual MOVIE!!! I am hero is honestly so good! I think its super scary that the zombies talk! I like The Night Eats The World too as the zombies don't groan! Instead the directors use of sound makes the zombies rapidly fumbling loud footsteps sound terrifying contrast to the bleak some what peaceful quiet.

I used to hate zombies during childhood but now I find them cute since movie zombieland
If you ever want to see a zombie movie with heart "meaning one thats not instantly torn out and eaten in the beginning of the film" then may I recommend the movie "Maggie" starting of all people Arnold Schwarzenegger. No he doesnt come in like some superhero action star but instead a deeply moving flick about a father who cant let go as his dying daughter slowly turns into a zombie but retains her humanity for as long as she can.
Then to lighten the mood but still stick with the zombie theme I suggest Anne and the Apocalypse. You will laugh then cry after seeing a zombie movie set at Christmas in a small English town. Touching ending but also action packed as well. Greatly underrated IMO.

The fact that how most zombie apocalypse movies shows Humans so defenseless against zombies that it is almost disgusting I mean there are literally so many ways to defend against them and make a zombie proof civilization and they are not some earth shattering inventions, we have been using them for most of history really a walled city on a mountain with a thousand archers and a couple of hundred knights should easily be able to survive most of attacks, a full body iron or even a leather armor or even a light armor can take care of almost all the easy to reach bite able areas and a two handed or even a single handed sword can easily mow down hordes of zombies (they can't really move with their spinal cord damaged which should be much more easy to break considering they don't have a maintenance system in body that keeps it flexible) and a thousands arrow attack by a thousand archers should be able to atleast disable if not kill a zombie hoard and on top of that they don't even need to aim or even be on the wall and they just need it fire it in general direction which means they atleast will be able to fire 1 arrow per 3 seconds and on top of that whatever you take, a bow, a sword, a spear, a club, a war hammer, a shield, a catapult, a halberd won't make more noise than the zombie itself.
That would require people to work together....thats the flaw in your system
@@anythingfootball197 yeah and just because a new breed of animal that at full speed is even slower than a walking rat, have bone more easy to break than a dried twig and have intelligence lower than a bacteria appeared that I doubt will be able to survive with that weak body long enough to see a single animal without tripping to death, humans a social animal which is known for easily able to make bonds with each other will suddenly go crazy unable to work together and seriously they just need to make one walled city which doesn't even have to be big or tall and doesn't even have to be opaque as a big and wide fence with around 1000 people living inside it will be enough to face any kind of zombie attack be it 50 zombies or 500 bows will take care of them not to mention that it won't make any sound and this is effective we tested it for thousands of years on a species much more powerful than a zombie called homo sapiens in fact it makes so less sound that then need to purposefully make a lot of sound somehow to announce it the beginning.
I feel like that would take alot of rigorous preemptive planning. The way i see it: if a zombie outbreak was to occur it'd be difficult to take such measures on the off chance that the government was forthcoming about the impending apocalypse. I have little faith that the government would be transparent in a situation like that. Also. Imagine the mass panic a zombie outbreak would produce. There is a small percentage of people that would be able to maintain their sanity in a zombie apocalypse and due to that mass panic i believe would lessen the chance that people in a given place would be able to strategize a plan of action such as that. I could be wrong. It would all come down to the ability of people to act rationally in a situation such as this.
@@tevinmuse1258 but that's only till initial outbreak also it isn't like those kind of structure are rare as the forts built in the past that were not destroyed during ww2 or ww1 or colonial period are still there as monuments and for this reason they are still properly maintained and you just need some bows and swords after that and you got yourself a very safe shelter and also I doubt zombies can pust through and break thousands of blocks of dimension 1m×0.5m×0.25m attached to each other and only concern would be the gates but then again those gates were powerful enough to survive being hit by a 500kg log and still stand and also let's not forget about those islands forts with a bridge gate where you don't even need a bow or sword.
Why would we use bows and catapults when we have guns and mortars?

About 10 years ago, I saw a zombie-oriented movie, but I can't find its name when I look for it now. I searched UA-cam and other websites but could not find it. The story was that a young man and an old man are running away from zombies. Then they reach a house in the forest where all the zombies are dead. Then, from the roof of a young girl's house, she shoots an arrow at this boy with a bow, but it doesn't hit him. They then go to the house, and this boy and that girl fall in love, after a few days, the three of them go out of that house. Then a mutated zombie gets involved with them. He follows Them and gets into a fight with an old man and kills him. Then this boy and girl kill that mutated zombie. Let me tell you that the name of the movie is not zombieland.
I've never seen It Stains The Sands Red or The battery so looking forward to those.

There is a man trying to save his family(wife and son) in an zombie apocalype that is being broadcasted by an Antenna(and it stared via phones radios and tv) the it evolved into just sound which the zombies could emmit trough their vocal cords. The man has constant visions(dreams specifically) of the MAIN zombie leader as he gets closer and closer to the Antenna, at the ends when he makes it to the Antenna he finds hundreds of Zombies circling the Antenna and finds his son there, but it was too late and he himself becomes a Zombie.
