I bought my new boots and snowshoes yesterday, I can not wait to revisit the trails that I do during the other 3 seasons. To see the landscape in winter, it will be fantastic!
We just got our snowshoes at REI and it’s snowed. Yay. We have used them twice. Having so much fun. That’s for the tidbit about crossing the poles to help her back up. I fell twice and had a heck of a time getting back up. What a beautiful places your at.
Yeah, not so much learning how to snowshoe here. Disappointing for an REI video. The only thing I learned is putting poles in X to help you up after a fall. Lots of giggling and nonsense.
Eric Rosbottom Yeah I believe you need to melt and boil it first because eating frozen snow may be contaminated and the fact that it’s frozen means that your body spends a lot of energy melting it. Correct me if I’m wrong.
The more I watch these guys the more I love watching them!!! So much fun REI!!!
Wanted to learn how to snowshoe, video is 95% people goofing off and not talking about snowshoeing.

"And I lived through at least half of it." hahahaha
Gee, about the only thing I learned was putting the poles in an X pattern to help me push-up. Other than that... uhh

@ 2:46 she NAILED him! LOL! Always the short ones!
Is it just me or do these two have some awesome chemistry......
They look like they are a good match.
Great tips! I’ll have to teach them to my kids.
Please change the title to something that actually is happening in the video.
Colin, where do you buy your outdoor gear?
I'm 6'4" and 300 (working my way down), but it's so hard finding right sized clothing.
Jesus... w all the $ spent at REI this is the quality of video they invest in😝
Was that snow/ source lake?
what a workout -- just watching lol

What trail?! It's all covered in snow
That's six and a half minutes of wasted life for me. Thanks.
I'm sorry to be negative but that was a waste of time. Those two will likely get lost and end up like Jack Nicholson in The Shining.
I watched 6 minutes of drunken idiots to obtain 30 seconds of knowledge
Do they have their own channel?
She's probably freezing in that wet down parka :(
Off trail root areas can totally mess up your day.
Good content
Don’t eat the snow.

Most. Annoying. People. Ever.
Infotainment at its worst. Useless if you want to learn to snowshoe. Try Jared Manninen instead.
Insufferable!
Some
Of the worst content comes out of REI the marketing team must be gen z.. horrible
Unwatchable.
Why to much comedy and horse play in the video! Watch it for 39 seconds and gave thumb down!
