I would love Sorta Stupid react to Bricky´s "all warhammer factions explained" to get a good compact overview of the universe .... its a wide reacted video to :)
In the first game Leandros was your subordinate, but was a severe rule follower, believing in a set called the Codex (the code of the space marines, basically). He believed Titus was corrupted by the Warp because Titus could resist the effects, something only those allied with Chaos could do. He called the Inquisition, and resulted in Titus being arrested for suspected heresy. Whats funny is that Leandros BROKE the Codex by doing that. According to the Codex, and soldiers suspected of Heresy must report it to their Chaplan or Librarian, NOT the Inquisition.
Crazy thing is, that the only known being to ever resist the corrupting influence of the warp was the Emperor. Titus so far has shown a strange resistance to the warp's influence. Let's hope that the story teller's eventually explain this.
@@TheVisipacTons of humans have resisted warp corruption. The Grey Knights are an entire faction of Space Marines who can resist warp corruption and go fight chaos specifically, because of their legendary abilities in that department. Hell, a few of them are running around with weapons infused with chaos demons that they just ignore.
@@Asterion_Mol0c oh sure, he's definitely got some weird going on with him, but the fact that you have terms to describe it is why the idea that "only the emperor" can resist the warp is just wildly untrue. Lots and lots of people in the 40k universe can and do.
Leandros had a history of saying "The Codex Astartes does not support this action...", so when Gadriel says it at 5:19:20 you can see Titus give him a look but then Gadriel proves he's cool now.
To put 40k into scale the empire of man has around 1mil. planets under control. The Exact number is not known because they constantly gain and loose some , and communication can take years from the main planet to the outer system's ,so some of them might have already fallen but the leadership just doesn't know it yet.
@7:08:21 Leandros was the young marine Titus mentioned to Gadriel, he was also the marine that doubted Titus's loyalty and reported him to the inquisition nearly 100 years prior to the events of this game. Leandros believed the Codex Astartes needed to be followed perfectly and was upset by Titus's improvisation and unorthodox tactics, which is ironic because reporting Titus to the inquisition instead of the chapter's chaplains is in and of itself a massive violation of the Codex.
2:31 oh no, that is just a sub-sector which is part of a sector which is part of a segmentum, the Imperium has about 1.000.000 worlds scattered across the entire galaxy.
I highly reccomend cutting videos like this into parts and such youll get more consistent views. A good 45 min to an hour video with more edits and shi would draw a lot of viewers in.
@@sortastupidI mean the style is cool, just inarguably stupid. If you are to get 50k views from this single video, it’s likely that if you split it into just 4 parts you’d get a combined 150-200k views instead. That adrevenue compounds overtime as you keep posting videos. Not to mention it forces people to keep watching as they are in a specific place in the story inYOUR campaign. Swapping streamers to watch the second half of gameplay is difficult and can be frustrating. A great example is your 3hr long star wars episode 4,5, and 6 for only 50k views? Every one of them would have no issue clicking in the next video (released at the same time) and giving you not just 1 view but 3. The only real reason you don’t do this is lazyness, you don’t want to just cut the clip and upload all parts at once? I just personally don’t understand why you would not want the money, views, and algorithmic exposure. It’s like walking over $20 in the ground and saying “I won’t take it it’s someone else’s”, I hear that and say “sure but why”.
Because this isn’t how the algorithm works and videos don’t just retain viewership as they go on. You’re looking at the Star Wars compilation we put together and not looking at the individual videos we released which pulled in a set number of views. You’re also looking at videos that just released recently that generally take a few weeks to get moving in the algorithm because a large chunk of our audience has already watched the previous individual videos. This format of videos generally has infinitely higher potential than breaking the videos up. We have statistics you don’t have access too that back this up. In fact since we’ve switched to doing less videos our viewership across the board has increased dramatically compared to when we posted more videos. These compilation videos also generally outperform all solo videos that are released. It’s not inarguably stupid what we’re doing. It’s just inarguable that you have no idea how UA-cam works and are trying to give advice based on knowledge you don’t have Doing the exact opposite of what you’re suggesting is what gave us not only our highest viewed month on UA-cam ever but our highest patreon month as well. We also sometimes do break up the videos and then bulk them together like we did with Star Wars. Which is exactly the opposite of what you’re saying we do. You should probably know what you’re talking about before leaving such a factually incorrect statement 😁

Hey man awesome video I am a big fan of warhammer 40k and I was wondering if you and the boys could do some of the co op operations they are pretty great and you can customize your own space marine into any of the loyalist or traitor marines i like the black templars because of grimaldus and I like the salamanders because of how kind they are to the people of the imperium
Dude the combat is so different from anything I played. I’m phenomenal at souls games. I’m great at gears of war type stuff. Here? Something gets crossed in my head and I get just curb stomped. I’m on the 2nd highest diff (the one they said is the intended diff) and I’m getting killed a lot.

Totally recommend brickys "All factions explained" if you want a good starting place with the lore, he covers all the broad strokes.
Time for some Bricky Lore videos!! This space wolf welcomes you!! Purge them all in the name of the Imperium!!
Leandros Betrayed Titus in the first Space Marine game. Leandros is the reason Titus was sent to the Death Watch for Heresy
Fuck Leandros, all my homies hate Leandros
So Warhammer is about 40 years old at this point. I usually assume things like chain weapons were inspired by 40k
