Thanks. She was released but I had a replica done of her. It turned out great. I saw a guy catch a 13 pounder out of same lake very beginning of 23 so I know it has some bigs in it. Thankfully it's a smaller no name lake than almost nobody fishes
Aloha from Wahiawa Matty! I've been there several years ago when they had a program to watch and a pond where we caught and released rainbow trout! We fished Lake Athens and Lake Fork! Cheeehoo!
Matty it was great meeting you this past weekend during Bass University.. Thank you for the excellent presentations and answering all my questions. Best wishes for the upcoming season! Great behind the scenes footage of what we didn't get to see! 🤙
Siiiiiiick dude. 😎 Jeez that place is impressive, I’d be like a kid in a candy store in there. Really really cool. That giant swam right up to you too! 😃 Wonder if she was thinking feeding time… haha great vid. Thanks for sharing that bro. 🤙🏽
They should play some Hawaiian Kine music for chillaxum! Awesome to see the behind the scenes action of Texas fisheries. Mahalo's again Matty for always bringing Aloha to all you do! CheePono! 😎🤙🏽
That's awesome! That's a monster huge bass!!! I caught my PB this past August, she was 11.4 it was rediculace. I can't imagine a 15+ fish let alone something close to 20!? Insane
😮 Pretty dang cool ! Now if all states could do something for bass ! Would be nice ! Here in pa its mostly all trout < and alot die in the summer < stupid
What they don't tell you is most of these fish are destined for Ivue or Fork for tourists who hire guides. It's big business here in Texas. They are meant to be fished out, think stocked trout or catfish.
My son has been there 4 times. First time was a “we should check it out” trip, next three times were his request. 🤘🤘🤙🤙
Cool video definitely worth visiting California should consider doing this program
California needs this program!!

Heard the interview on Serious Angler podcast. My son and I decided to check out your videos. Now subscribed! Love your work!
Right on! Thanks for the sub! Welcome to the channel!

Who was first to catch the 8 pounder after bass university?
Great content man, thanks for getting some behind the scenes footage! Also thanks again for the seminars; incredibly informative!
Amazing! I would to visit this fish hatchery
Great video Matty! Very excited to get back down to Athens when it reopens, and probably go fish a certain roadbed near the ramp afterwards.
Good job this weekend so cool to see the behind the scenes at sharelunker!

You always have great, informative, & fun content. Always a pleasure to watch, keeping me sane in this off-season. Much Mahalo!🤙🏻
So cool to see a State taking care of bass. In Oregon they are trying to get rid of warm water fishing.
Great story about the Texas share lunker program!
Very informative video, thank you!

11.4 is a solid fish man! Congrats!
Thats insane! I wish I can visit this some day!
Matty you’re a legend, awesome video man
GREAT JOB! Learned a lot
Great video! Texas definitely has been hard at work at maintaining our fisheries here.
You got my sub, the Japanese videos were incredible! This one looks to be even more interesting. Thanks for the quality content.
Zark's bass!
Joe McKay. That’s Zark from Milliken fishing.
Let's go and get you a sharelunker homie!🙌💪
We go catch a Zark fish too! lol
Thats Ben Millikens boy Zarks bass.
Is this the only Bass program, like this, in the country? Amazing!
there are other places in the country but Texas is king of the restock program
Man that’s so cool
Setting yourself apart from other channels. Love it
👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
How big do the companion bass have to be to keep from getting eaten.
2.5lbs or bigger… anything smaller gets eaten!!!
I thought they let Zark’s fish go back in the lake. That was a Milliken video celebrity in that tank!
Every state in the US should do what they are doing. ❤
