Great question Viviane! I will do a tutorial on this color (and a few more metals) in the future - but my guess by looking at my swatch chart is I would try this combo for Rose Gold: 280 Burnt Umber, 283 Burnt Sienna, 130 Salmon, and 131 Coral. Since I haven't tried this yet, please do experiment with it before you go on your page with that mix and let me know what you think!
Hi Laura, I’m very new to coloring and I may be way over my head with this one. I will try to follow with Prismas, but I cannot find the equivalent for green gold in any of my charts, would artichoke work? I have: walnut brown = burnt umber Raw umber = sienna brown Cream = Deco yellow/jasmine Green gold = Artichoke? Thanks! I’m loving your videos, I have to watch them in parts because I get constantly interrupted 😒 I also have a page on a book that I’m not sure if it’s been translated to English, it’s a book by Isabel Allende, the Porcelain Nymph, it has a page that is filled with pocket watches, just like the one you showed, and I love it! I see it with different metal colors. I’m afraid I’ll ruin it, so I will try to make a copy of it... I have the Poly to Prisma conversion chart from Colour with Claire. Please, where can I get your conversion charts?
Your calming encouragement is wonderful. Love spending time with you. I’ll be coloring a lot of metals. I also suggest people watch your Steam Punk gear videos. Fantastic!
Just watched now Laura. Love the brass, I cannot believe you collect old/vintage watches and clocks also. Will be following along, see you on Friday. Yay.❤❤❤
I've got every color but the green gold in the polys. What color can I use in a different set that would match it? I've got prismacolors, arteza, castle, carn dash, koh noor, ColorIt, amazon, fantasia, sergeant, Crayola, lmao! 😄 😄. yep! I can go on. But which, matches do you know?
Tammy, I will check tonight after work and let you know! I think there's a similar color in polys that might work! 🤗 But I'll let you know about Prismas too!
@@lauracolorstoo thank you! ,after watching the whole video! I heard you say you were going to make a conversion chart! That would be awesome! .I've viewed a couple of other ones, and they don't have all the polys, lol. So I stopped looking, lol.
@@tammygeorge1638 Still, that won't be for a while (I've got a really busy month) - so the colors I'd recommend instead of Green Gold are: Polychromos 183 Light Yellow Ochre or Prismacolor 1034 Goldenrod... I hope these suggestions work instead! Try it out and let me know what you think!
I work in many different brands including crayola. This series is using polychromos not prismas. I chose different materials for different videos. What brands are you requesting?
@@lauracolorstoo its cool um one other question for you. How do you know when the tooth of the paper is gone? I typically use mixed media due to its all purpose nature or sometimes Colored pencil paper.
Heather, for my stream, I'll be working in my book, Circle Portraits. You can get it here: www.etsy.com/listing/669371467/circle-portraits-coloring-book-signed There is also an older version of this drawing that I put on my Etsy shop before I updated and redrew it for the book (You can see the hummingbird is not as nice, and some other linework is sketchy), it's still in my shop as a single page here: www.etsy.com/listing/616517543/the-legend-of-the-sun-and-moon
Are you coloring metal too? Let me know what works for you or what struggles you're having in the comments below! ❤
I will make gold pink with polychromos but i dont know where are the best colour to use.. have you an idear ?

Tammy George me too. I figured I would use the Artichoke from PrismaColors and it worked pretty well.
What book are you using
I'm using colormorphia here, but all the info is usually in the description and at the beginning of the video.. in general 😂😅
One question also most of my pencils aren't prisma due 2 their cost. Could u give alternativels plz

@@lauracolorstoo i have shuttle art which is kind of generic and arteza
