My great grandfather made traps until he became the manager of the business. I love watching videos like these to understand what he did. Btw this is amazing!!!
nope, its out of rebar. No point of me doing it, im not using because its illegal. It works fine unheat treated, but it would probably lose it's strength eventually if it was used
@@dangerfieldknives3575 AZ has weird trapping laws, I lived there for a while. The traps I buy are legal, even though they are handmade, because they are "commercially made." But if an individual were to make the exact same trap for themselves, they can't use it. The NTA is working on getting better trapping laws, hopefully you'll see some changes soon, escpecially with regards to foothold traps on public land, considering the laws already in place to protect domestic animals.

@@dangerfieldknives3575 made to specs of your state, they would be legal.
Could you please tell me what size the rebar was
How use oil? Not make a video to forge?
It’s pretty cool but how is it a bear trap way to small for that otherwise I liked it
I called it a bear trap (even though its not) because many people call it that. Its modeled after a #1 foot hold trap
i subscribed liked and the bell of course comment
Nice bro
Nice BRO

Why is this illegal?
Negative Thirty at least in AZ you can’t use homemade traps
Dangerfield Knives ah that makes more sense, here we can as long a DNR officer checks them.
