how do you lose access to shieldwall? I thought it is on every soldier regardless of weapon?

Photon blade gives… AoE, Atk Speed, Damage.
I haven’t tried it yet, but I wanted to slap it on the leech tank or another heavy melee damage dealer.
Might be good on the main character too?

Andrias with photon blades can be pretty ridiculous with all the attack speed buffs. That’s the only way I’ve found to use it tho
