It's a good point, I have a few tarantulas and over the years I do it both ways some are in smaller enclosures, and some I move into slightly bigger than needed, it's due a molt soon so will be better then. And looks a bit smaller on vid than in person.
I’ve got a question, I’m about to order a Brazilian white knee tarantula and it’s 5.5 centimeters legspan, is a 20x20x20 terrarium more than enough for that size of tarantula, and if yes, is it okay for longer stay and when it gets bigger

this species wont really web up the whole enclosure. will probably just web a web mat in it's hide and by the hide's entrance.
