I love how much you loved Forget me not. I actually had five 5⭐️ reads almost in a row this month: -The Seven Year Slip -Forget Me Not -Mickey Chambers shakes it up -Yours Truly -Happy Place I riding on a high wave and hope the 5 star streak will continue 😊
I get to meet Jennifer Hartmann tomorrow at an author convention and I’m so excited. I did really like Lotus, but Still Beating is still my favorite book by her. Happy birthday!
If you want a fantastic why choose author you need to try R.A. Smyth. If you like great plot and getting to know each character properly before they get together, you will 💗 her books. Broken Trust Pacific Prep, Book 1 By: R.A. Smyth Rebels & Rejects Black Creek, Book 1 By: R.A. Smyth
My favorite Jennifer Hartman is June First. I also loved her Heartsong duet. I mean, everything she’s written is so good. I will say Lotus was my least favorite. I just finished reading a book by a thriller author I enjoy…. And it wasn’t a thriller. No romance, but I have never cried so much in a book before. Ever. It is called Saving Noah by Lucinda Berry. It’s short, but dang it man, it was sad.
Oh my gosh, I was wondering how people would read so many books in one month. Technically you don’t read them, you just listen to them on audiobooks, right? Still, a lot 😳 of books. Thanks for sharing. 😊
I had the same thoughts about Groupie. I did not care about anyone in the book or their relationships. There wasn't any kind of connection between any of them, especially not before they started a physical relationship. It felt more like the guys were just lining up waiting for their turn. It left me feeling gross.
I have an odd question... At 8:35 you say something like y2s hockey romance. But I'm not sure what that means. I tried to google but maybe I'm not hearing you correctly. Can you please tell me what it is you're saying and what it means? I also tried turning on the cc but it said you were saying white cheese. LOL Which clearly you did not.
Jess said "Why choose hockey romance". "Why Choose" indicates a romance where a character is involved or getting involved with two people and is falling in love with both, so "why choose" between them. Hope that helps. It's amazing what the "cc" sometimes thinks has been said!!
I just wanted to tell you beforehand if you're going to read a Crown of Oaths and Curses there is barely any romance because the hero believes the heroine has ulterior motives for her actions, even though she wins the trust of his people, but he still does not trust her so it's a very slow burn, and he needs to Gravel in book 2
I love Lotus, I'm sad you didn't like it 💔 I like it as much as Still Beating or June First (talking about books of the same "universe"). The MMC is the cutest and I loved to see how he learns how to live again after what happened, and I loved how the FMC and his brother help him. And their relationship is the cutest until cute turns to 🔥 Actually the suspense part was what I liked the least, and I don't mean learning about what happened to him as a kid (I loved that, I loved the explanation and the who and everything), I mean the stuff that happens to them when they're adults. But since you love suspense I understand why you loved that part hahaha

@@pennyhanks5303 Thanx so much for the reply. It's so nice of you.

Ooo need what we broke 👀
Groupie has 3 books
i also want to read something by laura pavolv fun video as always
I gave Lotus 3 stars as well. Had a lot of slow parts. The fmc wasn’t my favorite and didn’t like how little we got to see Oliver’s healing journey :/

Omg I totally agree with you. Loved reading something different where Mmc was innocent and not the alpha going after the relationship.
