Hear Lee Mabey (DEI lead of media and managing partner of dentsu X)'s winning speech for the IPA Speakers Cup about classism.
Lee was also given a £300 prize which he has asked to be donated to Prince’s Trust, to support those he talks about in his speech.

Sadly the art of the persuasive sell is dying. We just don’t see this kind of clever, inspirational two-minute speech anymore. Instead what we see are hundreds of slides, which fail to deliver the message or captivate the audience. Adland is losing the ability to get on its feet and speak from the heart, which is why the IPA created The Speaker’s Cup, now in its fifth year!
The challenge: give a brilliant 2-3 minute speech without Powerpoint.
