your videos are good as they are. The older cars you work on, the more chances there are that people work on theirs. It would be good to show some repairs without the ramp, as not many have them.
autodoc.co.uk if therecis no problem with coil spring … its better to change it to give more hight and support for vehicle … becuze old one is become soft and mushy related of using and age of car ???
Thank you for your comment! You are right and in this case, it is better to use spring clamps, so the replacement will take place without the risk of the spring being fly out. Best regards, Autodoc!
Got it, thanks for that, I’m a diesel mechanic but I’ve a Vw Passat that I love it
Why are you going true all that , all you need to do is undo the 18 mil bolt closest to the hubs and the spring will easily come out ..
This is the most annoying service video I have seen.

Nice job 👍
is spring compressor needed? wondering why the spring didn't fly out as it was under load when you lowered the suspension arm.
Lol just be careful lowering the arm.

Thank you for your feedback.
Yes, it is recommended to make an alignment correction after this replacement.

Why the hell would you disturb camber bolts to do this?
After any work related to the suspension of the car, it is recommended to adjust the wheel alignment.
