This pretty much has all the equipment that luxury car makers used to have. Once upon a time you could only get them with auto makers such as BMW, Mercs, Audis Etc. But now even entry level auto makers have them. So I dont see why people need to end up spending THAT much more literally just for a brand name. Save your money
Thank you for doing the head and leg room. You look like a tall guy and I am 6 foot 2 inches and I have been looking at SUV/Crossovers specifically for head, leg room, trunk space, and fuel economy. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

Hey Dave, love the videos. I have a question for you. Could you explain the drop in mpgs for this new crv? If my memory serves correct, the 2015 AWD crv was rated 26/33. The new one is only rated 25/31. What caused the drop?
+Drew Kessler You're right. Here's the numbers I found: The 2015 CR-V is 27 city / 34 hwy in the CVT in 2WD and 26 city / 33 hwy in the CVT AWD. Whereas the 2016 is 26 city / 33 hwy in the CVT in 2WD and 25 city / 31 hwy in the CVT AWD. Great question. I can't find much of a wt difference or dimensions difference between the two. Anyone else have an answer?

Please, show us what it can do comparatively with snow tires. "All Seasons" are misnamed, at least up north where I live. Those should be called "Three Seasons." Snows give SO much more margin in snow there's no contest.

lots of complaints of vibration issues with the CRV as seen carcomplaints website.. did you notice anything?
+Jacob TJ Had vibration at idle in drive when stopped, TC actuator [noisy on cold start] replaced by dealer under warrantee, now smoother.

Dave, have you experienced any of the vibration issues owners have complained about on the 2015 model? Honda could have fixed it for 2016.
they fixed it for the 2016 model and from what I understood they were planning on trying to fix it on 2015 models as well

compared to the 2015 they changed a few things that customers had problems with like the vibration issue and a "booming" sound coming from the rear end when breaking they listened to their customers and solved the problems with the product they made

Honestly, there's not much more in an Acura vs a Honda anymore than makes it luxury. In fact, Acura can be called premium cause it certainly doesn't compete with Audi, Benz, BMW or Lexus. If you sit in an Acura, many of the parts and materials are shared. The gap between a Toyota and Lexus though are far greater.
+W-_-T I don't find it needs a V6, the gas mileage is great on this car.

Long term reliability is just a big question mark for a lot of these companies that are implementing it after using a traditional Automatic for so long.
as long as its not a newer nissan you'll be ok with a cvt

In my area, it appears that 1 man vs around 75 women drive the CR-V while it's 50-50 on the Mini Countryman (highest % men vs women)
Note this is not scientific, just an observation and I know way more women drive midsize SUV's then men.
