- Here's to the firefighters who put their lives on the line every day.

Was a firefighter for six years and thinking of going back to volunteering again for it. I tell you, there is no feeling like being a firefighter. The times I did go inside, I never thought about it. The tears, the pride, the comraderie, its very hard to express. They are a second family and we know the value of life. To all my brothers and sister firefighters...Thank you.
we dont work harder. whats with people separating us as volunteer and paid.. we work for the same goal. we are a brotherhood
Firemen will always have my respect for the courage they have.
This is a great tribute to some of our country's biggest heroes. While I know that the ones who are true firemen at heart do NOT do it for the recognition, but firemen truly are not recognized enough for what they do. My boyfriend is a fireman, and I have seen in his eyes what it means to him and I would never ask him to give it up. While it honestly scares me to death when he leaves on a call, I am incredibly proud of him, and I will always just support him, and wait for him to come home.

Just remember everything you are feeling now, when a firefighter that you HATE so much, pulls your undeserving ass from a situation could be your last.
Damn few. Hell I don't why anyone would want to be a firemen. But I do, and I know a few. Junior firefighter , NC RPVFD station 22. Be strong and be safe brothers.
Firefighters earn their awards by saving ppl not shooting at them (I have nothing against troops) Firefighters can die when a building crashes or explosions hitting gas so don't misjudge them

Well some of us are volenteer firefighters that don't get paid and its hard for us to keep our dapartments open and I would we lost a older man this spring in our sister department and we had fire trucks and fire fighters come from NB and NFLD and PEI come to the middle of no where in NS were like brothers stick together

I completely agree with you. That guy just likes to make those comments on videos such as this one all the time. The best way to shut him up is to not acknowledge him. I personally think he has some reason to hate firefighters that he just doesn't seem to want to tell anyone.

be if you don't give respect to firefighters emts firemetics the u probly don't even give the respect that our military men and women deserve, if your such a tough guy go to the family's of the 19 Arizona hot shots and tell them that there husbands where nothing but a bunch of over paid drama queens and their job is safe see what happens and fyi we don't make any more than teachers do
