The CRB foam today was especially fascinating to me. I reversed it to watch 7:21 over, and over, and over again. At least ten times. 😁😂 I love those big drop splatters at 17:17 soooo much! The huge drops of runny foam hitting the standing foam and making those great huge raindrops just fascinated me! 🤩😍😍🤩 The moiré pattern at 21:04 was beautiful, also! Did I have a little moment there? YES! Yes I did! Thank you Jakub 💪 for that unexpected treasure right in the middle of cleaning this rug! Now I need to finish watching it! 😍❤️🌻🌵

This reminded me of something, so of course I had to research…it was Dr. Harold Edgerton’s photograph of the “Milk Drop Coronet”, the first ever photograph of a droplet landing in liquid - in 1957! I wanted to stop the video at the most beautiful spot in the droplets! Superb, Jakub!! I now want a black and white photo of that!! 😁😁😁 (My late father-in-law was a student and protégé of Dr. Edgerton, at MIT.)
I’ve always been fascinated by his stroboscopic photography. The bullet through an apple, cranberry juice into milk, the diver - these are all so fascinating to me! I think Jakub’s work “CRB Foam into CRB Foam, would be just the right black & white photo for me! 😁😁😁😍😍😍 I’m just saying. ❤️❤️❤️🌻🌵

I think I've noticed in other videos the brushes on the big yellow machine were white, not blue. Do they have different uses (or different carpet types) they work better for?
He usues the white brush for old rugs, that are fragile, and that brush is sweeter. But he usually uses the blue, the tradicional.

Are shag rugs harder to clean than non-shag rugs?
Depends on how much they were shagged on 🤔😆. Real talk though, I’m thinking the longer fibers can trap more dirt thereby making it harder to clean in the sense of how long it takes. If there was a fiber:dirt ratio where the amount of fiber to the trappings of dirt could be measured, I’m guessing it would take about the same about of time.

Yes they are harder to clean due to as vermasean mentioned the long fibers that traps all the dirt deep inside. I don’t like shag rugs because of that and because i don’t like the feel on my bare feet 😂 Jakub really makes this seems easy!

How long was the wait between the first and second passes with the blue circular scrubber? It looks like you let the suds partly dry, to allow the detergent to lift out more crud, but not sure.
He has said it is about a 10-15 minute dwell time for the cleanser to work its magic. Hope that helps. There are a ton of old timers (? Long timers?😂) on here to answer questions, if Jakub doesn’t get back to you. ❤️❤️🌻🌵
