Thank you Mike Martin and Casio for making these videos. I'm learning a lot from this video and I can't wait for the next videos to come out. Thank You Casio and keep up the Great Work !!!! : ))
Great video Mike. Thanks for posting. Can't wait for the next one plus the new sounds you're working on for the P1. Have you thought of producing an instructional DVD that can either be purchased / included in the package? Thanks again!
I own the G1 version, and yes, its possible. wobble basses are able to be made on any, even semi-pro synts. just modulate the filters and sync them to the beat. altough, you cant make them sound "big" , like for example, skrillex, because it demands alot of layering... (maybe thats possible with the HexLayer in P1) cheers
Hi, Amateur hack here !! can you help me adjust the step sequencer volume? I want the drum track to be louder while I play along with it using tones. Sp i want to be able to adjust what I am playing AND the volume of the step sequencer separately. . I hope that makes sense and thanks in advance :)
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE MORE!!! FOR G1 ESPECIALLY, but also the P1, cause i believe everyone is having problem with that goddamn manual. I dont want to sound rude, but its lame. I own the electribe EMX... i red its manual and i figured the workflow in one day. Altough, the synth (G1) is great. I am very happy with sounds and the general idea... but the manual... aaaaa... if i didnt watch the step sequenccer tutorial, i would never figured out how to record my parts in step sequencer
I hope that Casio is going to attend the 2019 Summer NAMM show in Nashville, as I tried to call, left a message, and I did not reply. Since this was uploaded in 2012, will there be an update as adding a touch screen like the CGP-700? I have a teaching studio and I want to offer my students the CGP-700 and the MZ-500. I teach the play by ear method, and using the orchestrated background styles like the Lowrey Virtual Orchestra and Lowrey Magic Program. So please let me know if your company plans on attending the 2019 Summer NAMM show in Nashville. There are many other arranger keyboards, but Casio is the most affordable arranger keyboard available as others are about $5,000. I am talking with Ketron, as I like their products.
This is AWESOME! As happy as I am that I bought the XW-P1, it just got even better!! Thank you Casio and Mike!

can the step sequencer control external parts?
My brother had this and gave it to me. And i am so confused on how to use it. I just want to use it for the piano. 😂😂
Turn it on, choose Tone. Preset 00 is piano.
Can you PLEASE just tell me why the first half of the darn keyboard is having a different sound?
I think I'm a Casio man now anybody want a couple of Yamahas
