What immortalizes ancient songs is that they tell a story, whether sad, happy or fun. “People identify with what is sung and end up listening to it for many years”. If the music that is reproduced today has a profit objective, “the new generations are looking to the past. I now listen to old songs that tell stories that have not been lived, but with lyrics that are so current that they reverberate in the present”,
I was a fan at 10, & I'm still a fan today at 67. Long live Dion !
I was a fan of him when I first heard him when I was 13, still a fan now that I'm 54...
He is awesome one of the best performers ever he is one of the biggest rockstar’s ever. Dion will live forever🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
We saw Dion (2) times in Rochester, Michigan at Meadow Brook on the Oakland University campus by the Dodge Mansion in the 1990's & he put on a great concert! We sat right up front about 5 rows back.
Also, at the concert were the great Everly Brothers! What a show for they did all their hits!
The Wanderer gets everyone rocking! Dion still has it!
Tony Trotta
Loved him at 16 - still adore him at 74!
Cant believe Dion still does performances live...
its amazing aint it?
this guy toured with buddy holly and hes better than ever
These guys and its music will never get old.
I believe I was his biggest fan on Long Island, NY - still have the original "Dion and the Bellnotes" vinyl LP on Laurie Records! My favorites were "Don't Pity Me", "No One Knows" "A Teenager In Love". He has recorded and performed continually through all these years - and truly, sounds better than any one from his generation! My very best to you Mr DiMucci! -- Pete Antell
Said it before, the man's a national treasure.
I can’t think of many other performers of those days that still sound awesome.Well Dion is one of those Frankie Valli and of course Jay Black . Nobody has a voice like Jay black.🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Dion felt like doing it right here. Good on him! Sounds awesome!
I'm young and I recently just started listening to Dion. His music is amazing. I play the sax and I've really been looking into learning the sax solos in his music.
+Believers View I feel so good that young people can appreciate Dion....an idol of mine since he and I were both young
...us old guys thought he was tops.....also Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison.....I think Dion still tours now and then.
+david caruso don't forget my favorite, Bobby Darin, Dion is an incredibly close second though.
Dion is a treasure! Rock and roll and clean sound.
Dion just turned 80 a week ago , amazing, one of the best ever!!
wished I was there.... what a quality, amazing
Dion is cooler now than ever , a great rock and roll survivor with a great voice. ...GO DION !!!!.
Muchas Gracias Tomas..PA
Great to see Dion still in business he was so stylish with those Italian style suits he use to wear in the 60s.I bought his biography in 89 it was very interesting.Always in the rain is a great song it reminds me of being in the States.
+Nigel Cowan yes mohair rules ! Those 3 button narrow collar suits so popular with many doowop groups
That's a wonderful song. He's got many. Also like 'If I should Fall Behind, Wait for Me'. I think it would be interesting to here him do 'Sandy' today in concert. It's in a minor key. He's got many hidden treasure type of songs.
Holy shit. He is still good.
One of his best songs.... Go Dion..
I wish they included roundaround sue in diamond city radio it would be wild traversing post- apocalyptic Boston with this song
Saw hima few yrs ago ..still touring..god bless him . awesome then..awesome now . my fav dance& bounce around song
damn this is all I listen to pure old school because I can't stand now aday music
+mike murillo So, you haven't liked any music since the 60's? Talk about living in the past.
If Dion has done The Wanderer and Runaround Sue at least 150 times a year for the last almost 50 years that comes to at least 7,500 times of playing and singing these two songs. I have always respected Dion because he never sells himself or his songs short. He always sells them to the audience. No sign (to me) that he's just going through the motions. He has always appeared to give it 100% !! and given respect to the audience. Even when I saw him at a small club near the boarder of Connecticut and New York with a small audience, this was about 35 ? years ago? He gave it his all even as DJs from some local radio station interrupted his show to give some silly plaque. Grace. I'll be going to spend the weekend in New York this summer to see him again this time in Staten Island. Must be about my 8th time going to see him.
Fallout 4 showed me The Wanderer and i started to listen more Dion music afterwards. Thanks to the Fallout Diamond City Radio
thanks to danny shorago too! now i love Dion and all his songs!
I always bought his single records as they were released. I still play and love them

Arno Hecht on sax sounds as good as Buddy Lucas who played on the original. DION FOREVER!!
roughtake Couldn't agree more....his sax solos are just superb! I've been a Dion fan since his Belmont days. Rock on, Dion!
I feel a bit sad how they are really old and they made a hit in like the 60s or something and in a few years a brilliant band will be gone
What an absolute American ICON
All this plus a God fearing man.😃
76 year old : l'énergique bonhomme. Spectaculaire.

I did not like him back in the 1960s. I didnt like doo wop. I liked the Beatles and thats all. Now, wow, how wonderfull he is.
A little help from tracks?
I don't think that he knows the words!! Shame, it's a super song!!
Huh??? Been singing the same 2 songs for over 60 years. Im sure he knows the words. What an idiotic comment
sadly dion is undervaluing hilself with such low class giggs!
HIBS HIBS OHHHHHHHHH
One of the few surviving singers from that time who can still actually sing!
The Iron Lion I wonder if anyone of these modern "singers" will be able to "sing" like this in fifty or sixty years, it would be even more spectacular if they didn't use auto tune!
The Prophet of the Cult of Manbar I can’t name a single good modern singer.
dont hurt me anymore
