This is the reason why most defences/defenses goal keepers and midfields are porous when it comes to left footed players, because they see things backwards. Maradona, Messi, Kalusha etc. got away with it. Same thing in boxing, martial arts. If you look closely, they are predominantly left foot, their right foot is almost useless. So you go after them with the left foot too and just use the right foot as a backup. You have to see things backwards too.
