Here's a video on how I organize dresser drawers and fold underwear, bras, socks, and tank tops. Plus you'll see how I created dividers inside my elfa drawers (in case you didn't know, elfa doesn't make dividers for their drawers). Is it weird to show my underwear drawer on camera?! Oh well. Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

I learned to fold my underwear in basic training at Boot Camp in the USAF in 1966. Start by laying flat the laundered underwear then fold the bottom (Crotch) up to the center of the waistband, the fold the left side over 2/3 the distance to the right side. And fold the right side all the way to the fold of the left side (In thirds) makes a folded item about the size of a paper-back book. they stack nicely. It has been 48 years and I still fold them. Dress shirts and "T" shirts and slacks I fold exactly as they were folded when I patronized a commercial laundry and I ordered no hangers. But, I don't use the straight pins. Simple, wrinkle free, and with years of practice quick and easy... And I don't use drawers, all my clothing except coats are on shelves.
I came up with the exact same method myself, just trying to figure out a way to stack the underwear in a small space. It just felt right to do it that way.
Folding in half never worked, so I realised they look like small wings extended. When you fold them you get almost a perfect square, so works best in a small drawer, boxes or in suitcases.

For everybody saying she's ocd, maybe not. Ocd is an anxiety disorder that many people, such as myself, suffer through. She does not seem the least bit anxious about anything, not even when it's a tad messy. Now, she might not even be a perfectionist, as people like hat have the need for everything to be just right but don't feel anxious about it. There's also less repetition in that PERSONALITY type, and no true compulsion. Ocpd, is the feeling that things should be fixed just perfectly, but isn't a cause of anxiety and not really a true issue for those who have his personality disorder. There's also absolutely know repetition or compulsion.

Ally Reed I don’t mean to be rude, but there aren’t actually “forms” of OCD and I don’t think that people should say things like that unless they have the education and certification to be making such a diagnosis.
Whether or not you have OCD yourself, that doesn’t automatically qualify you to diagnose anyone else.
Even someone who is qualified to make such a diagnosis cannot do so based on videos like this and I think that people use such diagnoses too loosely because anyone who truly does have a diagnosis has a hundred other people laughing and saying “oh me too” when in fact they DO NOT qualify for the same diagnosis. I think that using the language this way takes away from people who truly have the diagnosis.
I don’t mean to attack you, I just believe that it’s inappropriate for people to say things like that.

I just want to say thank you for giving me the inspiration I needed to re-organize my whole house. It took me three weeks but I did it. I'm so pleased how everything turned out. I'm now organizing my attic and almost done with that.....wow, what a wonderful feeling. Thanks again for all of your wonderful videos !!
I recently organized my drawers as well, and honestly, for a week after I would just open my drawers (especially my underwear drawer) and admire how nice and neat everything was!

I organized my tank drawer which was hard to open because it really full, folded everything like you and everything fit nicely and the drawer opens easily and didn't even get rid of anything. Thank you!

Not weird about the bras and underwear. I am trying to reorganize my closet so seeing how you do it gives me ideas of where to start on my own stuff. I don't live near a Container Store nor can I afford the Elfa components, but it does give me ideas using what is local here. I find your videos very helpful!
all of your videos make me want to grow faster and buy TONS of organizers, then organize all the things in my new home and just feel completely happy walking around my house.

You are so sweet and natural. I like the way you sometimes correct yourself as you go along, it shows you're not scripted or pretentious. I usually buy bras with at least two matching pairs of underpants so I when I put them in my drawers I keep the sets together. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the tips - I couldn't be bothered to spend the time sectioning of the chest of drawers in that way, so will probably put narrow containers inside, instead. What a lovely happy young lady !!
Marion Windsor plastic shoe boxes fit nicely in my chest of drawers.

Love your ideas! I do my tanks, t- shirts and long sleeves the way you do your t-shirts. I use to roll my tanks. But living in Florida I wear tanks under other short and sleeveless shirts so I have a ton of tanks. I have only seen your t-shirt video and this one. So I got to get busy and watch some more videos. I love getting organized and de-cluttering. I don't care if it seems OCD. I did subscribe. Keep um coming!

Nice job, I've been folding my t shirts the way you showed, not only did I wind up with more room in my drawer, but they are so ez to find the ones I want now and the ones I don't wear I still don't wear (I'm too fat still :) but they look cool. thx so much you have changed my folding and storage life. I'm a bit of a fanatic and I really mean it.

Everything makes me smile BUT it is very bad to store your bras like that by folding one cup into another, it ruins the shape of it. Thats why people store their bras flat in stores and when traveling you stuff the bras with socks to keep its shape. PLEASE DONT PUT ONE CUP INTO THE OTHER! Omg but the color coding made me so happy.

great way of organizing.. seems like everyone on youtube who are very much into organizing used these drawers.. the other person i watched her closet tour and she used these type of drawers to store purses and wallets.
