Ep. 8 Meigs Mtn & Curry Mtn Trail Hike - October 2021 (Sylvan Reflections)

On this backpacking trip, I again, started on the Jakes Creek Trail at Elkmont Campground in the Great Smoky Mountains! To make things more interesting, I brought a friend with me which added a nice dimension to the experience. We turned westward onto Meigs Mtn Trail until reaching Campsite 19 (Upper Henderson). On day 2, we headed down the Curry Mtn Trail to where my friend was parked at the Metcalf Bottoms Picnic area. And then . . . well, we had some more fun! As always, we enjoyed the animals, trees, wildflowers and other beauties of nature.
