We used to do something very similar 40 years ago in California. Used a John Deere chopper with a field dolly to pull old reefer vans with the cold unit removed ( that’s where we blew through) to chop hay for delivery to a pellet mill. What’s old is new again!

That's an interesting concept, I think it would only be practical if the brakes were caged open so you wouldn't have to get off to constantly unhook airlines
They probably keep the brakes hooked up to reduce stress on the forager’s transmission, foragers aren’t really designed to pull things that big and heavy
@@wizard_of_poz4413 foragers aren’t designed for towing like tractors and trucks they don’t have the same types of brakes most of its breaking force comes from the transmission so having no trailer breaks with a nearly full trailer going down hill would result in a bad day and a new pair of underwear
If I am right it is newholland machine and a krone pickup hope it is a good blower to fill the trailer right at the back or does it have compactor do mergers run faster than rakes it good that you can put to widths to one swath like the 4 rotor rakes
It's an interesting idea I will give them that, as it does cut down on how many drivers you need. BUT it also looks like a very bad idea for two reasons. The first is that dropping a loaded trailer in a field, I get it, it might be dry but for some reason that it isn't and you drop that trailer in the wrong spot at the wrong time, you landing gear will be sunk into the ground in a matter of seconds and there will be nothing to save it except for a tow truck. Second reason, it looks like it will be a lot of down time unhooking the trailer and trailer connections, then backing into the other trailer and connecting all of the hoses and wires again. How my farm does it, 1 chopper 3 semi trucks running full speed. Very little down time and very efficient. Just my two cents

Salut , l'ensileuse a une sellette hydraulique, le conducteur ne touche pas aux béquilles, ça accélère le changement de benne
Les Bennes de camion sont également équipées de béquilles hydrauliques

Why not just run trucks alongside? It is quicker and easier on the chopper. You can fill more evenly as well.

Looks like trouble nice concept but dollying loaded trailers is an accident waiting to happen.

you can always put pads under landing gear. and this set up works perfectly in Europe, where farmers use main roads to transport all this grass,
