  • Most of the time I style and create weddings but each year I get to plan a handful of them and it's such a wonderful thing to see it from the start, style it personally and then run the day just to make sure things are as perfect as possible.
Over the past 2 years I've been seeing more and more couples requesting for planning services because most don't have the time (and patience) to do the run arounds as we used to.
It brings me back to my years of my first business, O'My Gosh, where we literally handled the entire planning of the wedding. It was much smaller operation, literally me and a few helpers with the poor boyfriend Bailey (now husband), but we created such a great alternative for couples back then when social media wasn't such a basic functionality and businesses still relied on Yellow Pages.
So now we are able to do that again, now under my name sake ANNA WANG, but with a larger space, a wonderful team of staff and vendors in the showroom, and more capabilities of services we've gathered internally over the years.
Rose + Alan are both Drs and their lack of time and wanting things to be handled for them worked perfectly with what we do here. So in creating their wedding I'd enlisted vendors Cinemotive Photo + Film, Showtime Production, Kimmy Cake Pops, Broadway Limousines and Doltone House to pull their wedding together.
In styling Rose + Alan's wedding we wanted to make use of the tall-ish ceiling of Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf, that way the centre piece of the space would be this amazing floral installation filling up most of the centre stage of the venue. It features 8 antique chandeliers from my internal collection and rigged up by Showtime Production.
