@@chrisjackson6149 maybe the building more, cause the distant chaotic piano makes it feel like things are scrambling and spinning out of control in the air
I can't put it in full proper musical terminology, but I feel the exact same way. And I think it is because of the use of descending scales for the main motif that we hear in the excellent chorus and at a few other points before the loop. It creates that feeling of descending - of falling - which perfectly suits Baldur's battle arena in Bayonetta 1 for obvious reasons. [EDIT] The bassline(?) also does the same thing to similar effect throughout the song.
I remember my first Rodin attempt. Normally, he gets a proper intro like any other enemy before the fight starts. Except on my very first attempt, he decided to not play by the rules and immediately started attacking immediately when loading was finished, while the screen was still black. He spent the entire intro cutscene attacking like a madman and I didn't even have a chance to learn the fight on my first attempt because once I got control, he was already beating me to death. What a first impression.
@@edorasmarauder5761 Raven Beak isn't her Dad, per se. I never read the Manga, but I think she had more of a father figure with another Chozo in the manga. He refers to her as 'daughter' because his DNA was part of the DNA Samus was infused with to make her a superhuman.
This fits rodin well because even if he's a fallen angel is not exactly a demon, demons already existed, that's why y bayo 2 remade his story as one of the many ho prefer hell being the strongest of demons. Here is different, here THEORICALY he could still regain his Holy powers via halos, in bayo 2 is just like an incitement for rodin.
@@Kent_D_Nur I personally believe that most if not all of the demons were angels who rebelled during the First Armageddon and were thus cast into the world of darkness. the idea of humans becoming demons by drinking poison or being condemned for the sins of relatives makes absolutely no sense, nor does the idea of human-demons being stronger than ACTUAL demons or the fact that Bayonetta somehow has ALL OF THEM.

There is just no way for me to properly express how much this fits the stage the battle takes place in.
The piece of the building falling down or the battle at Inferno in Bayonetta 2?
Both.
@@chrisjackson6149 maybe the building more, cause the distant chaotic piano makes it feel like things are scrambling and spinning out of control in the air

Worst dad ever.
Edit: I played Bayonetta 2, and I take it back.
If you only play bayonetta one, that definitely seems like the case. But the story of bayonetta two changes everything.
Play Bayonetta 2
I just beat it, and I take it all back.
@michaelieff2 same, i just beat Bayonetta 2 yesterday
Wow. Character development.
And no, I'm not just talking about Balder.

I read that as autism rain.
I'd call him Daddy.
Ok Rosa
This fucking boss theme right here evokes so much PTSD if you're well aquainted with some of the hardest challenges in the game

An antagonist who deserves a spot among the likes of Davy Jones and Darth Vader. You may call him... Father. Father Balder.
Fitting that all three such antagonists were once innocent and were corrupted by an oppressor
@@mammothplant For Balder’s case. He basically sacrificed his morality and will in order to keep a great evil at bay. He was a truly righteous man

Bayonetta being able to wear Samus' power suit became a lot more appropriate.
They both have cool cinematics during their fights, too. Too perfect.
I was going to say something along the lines of, "We don't even know who Samus's dad is," but then I remembered the scene from Dread.

Technically, yes. It's not his fault, evil corrupts him.
Not really. He probably kills demons.
@@hexospikez741 that's a good thing. demons are evil.

Bro for real
what if there is a stage in smash that is this fight and ur fallimg but in the background bayo fights balder?
this would work well as a boss theme for Lucifer.
