44:39, you miss putting the Poet sheild on ace, warlock can cashout his mana without the sheild. Cashout mana for 10 total Poet Sheild Ace for alot burst burst hex chomp to save sphere's hp burst wizz stun
This might be the perfect run for showing why monster pristine is a never pick. With mountain also just making it more horrific from lack of ways to disable pristine.
The problem really was with just how bad of a matchup mountain had with the pristine curse, mountain is really all focus on defencive play and pristine just curbstomping that defencive advantage and no dmg sides to mitigate it and then telling you to do smth about it with no heal really shows just how much a moderatly difficult curse becomes just a middle finger to your entire comps gimmick
Oh yeah something I wanted/forgot to mention: It's not exactly a 1/36 for meddler/alloy to interact poorly. It is a one in thirty-six to make two bones on the first roll, or if you assume that you always lock Alloy first roll. But because copycat will still work if you roll bones and some alloy side, then 3 mana and copycat, it's technically not one in thirty-six. Realistically, the one in thirty-six is close enough, it's fine, and yes, this is really just an engagement comment. Happy slicing!
Maybe mountain has a better likelihood to see some charged sort of payout (2 greys lets you get poet 2 blues gives you a decent chance for weaver) greens are probably better side replaced with some charged mana payout. But if you don’t hit than there’s no universe where it’s better than basic
With what you said "I like overcoming great odds, and in this case not the good ones" you made me think of the interview with Brennan Lee Mulligan where he speaks about D&D and whether nat20's are more interesting than nat1's, what is your opinion? Are, in gaming, critical failures and overcoming odds, more interesting than critical wins and overpowered builts?
Cant belive this game doesn't let you keep spells! Losing initiates spell, could of cost you the run, and totally would of been worth a negative review...
I don’t think so because some spells are just way to strong but you have weak characters as in hp and dice holding them like warlocks low hp and not the best dice but a broken spell
Sphere is quite the well rounded character.
Take my like and get out
+1

Cashout mana for 10 total
Poet Sheild Ace for alot
burst burst hex chomp to save sphere's hp
burst wizz stun
This is true, hex goated
8:15 i think what actually kills you 100% of the time is spade becoming presence. Jester is terrible but survivable but presence does nothing
Coffin probably also kills you
both are very bad
@Voyix I said survivable not good l don't have that bad opinions

The fight algorithm was devious throwing u like 4 fights of snipers ft huge unkillable tanks
They knew and wanted to punish him

i dont think this is really a defensive comp, you have worse defense than basic because no red and blues evaporate when you think about them
@Voyix idk i think it more of a all shield no hp comp with how two greys make shields and two blues use their mana to burst shield

ya the implication is that if you have meddler alloy one of them gets locked turn 1 no matter what
Bard finally gets to ''play ''

been enjoying the nonstandard comps a lot
44:07 this fight makes chomps seem scary for monster pristine. Your forced to take damage whether you hit the chomp or not
mr bardman carried... some.... weight at some times, breaking pristine with cantrip
he did fine i think ya
prince moment
The Bangle
I think if you got the Hand the play would've been to keep Sphere and go for an infinite with Poet.
horrific but true
Perhaps consider prince with amnesia combo

Based on the title, something must have gone very wrong
gg
100th like lets go gamers

Fuck it I’ll ask can we have monster train back?
definitely not, nobody (comparitively) watched monster train when i brought it back in january and i have played enough of that game for 2 lifetimes
