If you’re just one house or flat affected by the noise they won’t help you. But if I sat out side in front of my house with a large speaker 11am till 7am and woke the whole street up I would probably be arrested. Why is one person being a victim of noise taken less serious. Don’t understand we have a right to live without listening to other peoples selfish behaviour.

In Germany, Austria, Switzerland there's regulation, but even your neighbours wouldn't make any noise late afternoon, especially not on the weekend.
I'd say they're developed, Ireland not

Keep recording and reporting Becky there is a limit. Make sure these tenants are known to other neighborhoods. Warn landlords and owners about these intruders and noisy tenants to prevent good people from giving up and allowing criminals to take over our neighborhoods.

This is the worse advice. Noisy neighbors usually already have little self awareness and when approached usually get defensive.

My 85 year old father has to live next to ab individual who is aware of the louse music with base. However, they have announced that we can't do anything because they are playing their music legally within the time frame.

exactly that is what I thought. Though I have heard councils banning musicians from playing in their houses though they did it during the day. It make no sense. There is no consistency

The police simply dont enforce noise laws. Neither do courts. It is mind boggling.
In my situation it damaged my hearing. 15 hrs of intentional bass 7am-10pm every day for years, because the police told the Crazy Noisy person, "between these hours you can be as noisy as you want" Which goes against the ordinance in so many ways.
This person, with a 30+ year felony record, goes on to harrass the entire neighborhood intentionally, to the point DOZENS of residents have called police and sued him for physical assault, etc etc...ended up stalking the President of HOA and struck him in the face at 5AM, claiming he himself is "Security patrol" for the neighborhood. He is the only criminal in the neighborhood, who spends all day, every day, while obviously high on some hard stuff, finding targets to harrass and bait into dangerous violent encounters, or legal encounters so he can say "They provoked me!" Its bananas.
When he got arrested for punching the President, he was out in 3 hours. Only paying 500 dollars. He skipped 5+ court dates over months, and the case was thrown out. On each court date, he was out harassing others. It is WILD how little Enforcement actually cares, and opens my eyes as to why theres so much crime. If they refuse to enfore a simple noise ordinance, or follow up on actual Domestic Violence/ Physical Assault, no wonder theres so much stupid crime being allowed in the city.

I have a big problem with the noises coming from my neighbour. The problem is that is happening from 8pm until 2 am in the morning in every night. My neighbour listens to TV so loud. I recorded and just can hear every word. This TV can be on until 7am in the morning sometimes. He also moved his grandson with him wich under my understanding has ADHD. This keed plays games all night and he just screams waking up my daughter who is already terrified.
We bought the house a year ago and we did not know that the house next door is a council house.
I can’t sleep, it is really affecting my day to day life.
Talked to him but he is not getting the message.
    Please, please advise

Make a note of every date and time, and record the noises on your phone. Call your local Council and report the noise disturbance, providing them with the details of the dates/times and recordings. Keep on to top of your Council until they resolve the issue, as if the noises are happening after 11pm, and to 7am, then the Council are obligated to deal with it. I hope that helps. All the best.

Bruh your just enabling all the Karen's to cry 😢 I understand playing loud music 24/7 isn't allowed but what if someone just plays music loud for like 2hours is that such a crime this is human rights being challenged all over again 😳

    • @memoment431
      @memoment431 2 роки тому +11

Not if it's happening late at night and you have to get up work early the next day. Having loud music with speakers booming through the floor is just obtrusive to the neighbour living below or next door to you. Unsociable hours means just that Unsociable.

    • @Awakend7

Human rights to play music 😂😂😂 if someone is being a noisy twat then yeh I’d tell them to shut the f up, people need to be more considerate, if you want to play your music loud and are in a flat or attached house then put headphone on problem solved! People need to remember some people work night shift at the hospital such as myself and we really need our rest so when someone decides to play music when I have come home and trying to get a few hours sleep then that’s just taking the piss!

Even if its 2 hours ,you as the lease holder don't have the right to infringe on another person's peace. Crying Karen every time someone complains is nonsensical. I'll laugh if you ever get a bad neighbour who does this ,then watch how you cry and become a hypocrite lol.

What about the rights of people to not have to put up with hearing your loud music, for however long you inflict it on them. You have a choice, you can still listen to your loud music with earphones. Don't be so selfish.
