Honestly this is the most indecisive speech I ever saw on investing.
Excellent talk. The audio is quite bad though - the organisers should have hooked him up to a collar mic.
and 2008 happened again and I'm sure the next 2-3 generations of Bhattacharyas will be fine. Thanks, sir for sharing your wisdom.🙏
Along with financial education i thought I'm taking a psychology class! This man is brilliant,we live in such an age when we can watch and learn from him, anywhere for free
This is Behavioural Finance! :)
March 2020 was a repeat of 2008 and I did not see this presentation before.
Your age?
Yeah I listened to news channel and couldn't buy stocks at low.
I saw it live...I made sure I had cash to invest in and I invested....totally cashed in!
Bruv, listening to this 4 years from the beginning of the pandemic. Dayum. This guy was so right. 8:04
Thanks a lot CFA Society for uploading this talk. So useful..... will remind myself to see this once every week to stay conscientious.
Great investing lessons and great investor! I am from Brazil and practice my value investing philosophy mainly here and in USA. I am starting appreciating Indians' investors 👏🏻
I listened this live in seminar...please listened what he said from 8.30....within next year it came true. I dont know how much he made, but I did cash in
One of the great talks on investing i have ever heard. Good to see your energy sir.
This is a earmarked video for me, i will keep coming back to listen to this again and again hopefully.
I wish I would have watched two months back because most of the stock is corrected right now. In this two months, I have learned the stock market which I would never in the last five years in my study. Thank you so much for this valuable session.
You were not late... in last 1 yr it rallied a lot.... hoping u used it
Worth listening again to digest fully.

And now we had 2020.
Not just about investing or economics, the presentation is deeper! For such a wise man, he could have been given a collar mic. I think audio quality is why, some would have disliked this video. But very good content and a lot of take-away though. Thanks for uploading..
WHAT A WONDERFUL TREAT OF "NAVRATRI"!
+1 to CFA Society for the talk and sharing the content, -2 for poor audio quality throughout and not providing sub-titles/ enabling the auto-caption option. Better to use collar mikes in future.
This guy is GOLD
Absolutely fantastic session. Hats off to you Sir giving such a good lesson not just to be successful in Investment arena but also in normal life as well.

The greatest book in investing is not a 200 page magazine or the ultra simplistic 'the intelligent investor'. It's studying the 18 books of CFA and the 4k words plus version of security analysis by Graham only but it's the serious version not the mass media investment book.
You are excellent 👍
It really adds value to my investment learning..Thanks
Very very insightful session. Must listen
Awesome learning
Thank you CFA Society India

How to know when the crash will come ? What are the parameters to look ? In past, crash happened due to different reasons/different set of parameters. How to know which parameters may cause crash in future ? How to know how deep the crash will be, depending on which parameters? How long the crash would last depending on which parameters? Unless we get some knowledge on this, waiting for crash does not mean anything, that causes only opportunity cost to some extend. What are the parameters to know that recovery will happen in reasonable way? Example : Japan market was in the same range for long time, in June-1996 it was peak, till now it did not reach that peak. Other market's(/company) could have similar fate. Can anybody give some guidance on this ?
this guy is solid!
THANKYOU
