LDG, love the story of Mayan Mountain! Jesse has a great heart! Thanks a million for the enlightenment!
There is something beautiful watching kindred souls geek out on culture & depth of meaning behind the motifs & shapes of jaw dropping material, unique to an area & a people. Thank you for sharing the story behind this man's journey.
Absolutely my honor :)
Enjoyed the interview. Love video! Keep em coming.
I got to met him yesterday! Amazing shop and an amazing man! I’m from Honduras so it was amazing to connect with him!
So nice to meet you! Enjoy those jaguars! 🙏
Great dudes at Mayan Mountain, they have killer jadeite
Yes the 3 sisters. I plant sunflower in also. For beans. I have to grow everything at once( zone2-3). SF add more Nat trillis. Growing basil w tomatoes. The bugs that like basil hate tomatoes, visa vera. I use no herb/ pesticides. Heirloom seeds. I procure my own seed from Norway seed vault.
Excellent video!! Great interview. I know where I will be buying my jade.👍
Absolutely love Honduran black matrix opal. It's stable enough that you don't have to worry about it cracking when working with it. And it takes a great finish. I have a pendant that I made a few years ago out of the material and I still am amazed at the colors😁👍
Great video Dave, Guatemalan blue jade is on my bucket list for materials to work with so just seeing it makes me happy.
Me too and some of my favorite material I was listening to the impression that it was too expensive for me to work however I’m starting to believe that was just it being overpriced from now on I’m gonna buy straight from Jessie
That was killer love that jade
Wonderful!! I've bought from you before on ebay. Always happy with the transaction and the jade. Thanks.
Very good collection the truth I like how is helping the people.
The only thing missing is the red jade and the black galactic jade that has gold inclusions, the emerald jade is difficult to find you have to walk 3 or 4 mountains to find a vein, I think it is important that people know that many Mayan mining villages are scammed, there was a time when a man from Germany came and offered 13 dollars for a large sack of lilac jade (for something like that you must pay a minimum of 230 dollars) just like many Chinese buy jade in Guatemala and resell it to super high prices and they pass it off as "Chinese jade", the environmental exploitation and the stories of the miners for it is sad, so it is good to make sure where the stones that are bought come from.
As always nice video!
I've bought from these folks. Awesome slabs and chunks. Great prices and quality.
Well said my friend great products great price amazing people I just asked amazing mission
Outstanding! Guatemalan jadeite is my favorite and practically all I wear. I'd like to learn how to carve my own someday
Great material! Love that Honduran Opal…

Thank you a lot for this video , great objects in Jadeite as the jaguar heads pendants
They are soooo cool
Excellent show, Dave. I will be watching this one over & over again. I love Jadeite, and we don't get to see a lot on Jadeite from Guatemala. Those guys who own the company also do a lot to help the community. I can't wait for your next video, bro!
Thank you so much my friend I really appreciated the next movie coming out tomorrow it was such an honor to work with these people are absolutely amazing and what they are doing to help this children is fantastic
Beautiful jade, I'm from Indonesia 🇮🇩
Might be my favorite so far. I have always wanted jade, but I thought it cost so much more than that. I'm definitely getting some of that. They used to have jade coinage in ancient China that was like those donuts. I might grab some of those carve stuff into. Definitely getting some of the jewelry. Thanks bro!
Love from a Honduran girl ❤
Thank you!
I'm very Blessed to have found Jesse stout store on Etsy. I will be getting all of my pieces from him. Im going through liver failure. I purchased a piece of Translucent mint Jadeite from Guatemala. From his Mayan Mountain store. He was very kind to me. This stone really spoke to me. Godbless.
that is so awesome John Jesse is a very nice person
Thank you so much for watching the video john means a lot to me
Wow so cool , my brother worked in Honduras for about 10 yrs and adopted his youngest Charlle
Really one of the best episodes
do you really mean it 🥹❤️
@@lapidarydave
Without a doubt Dave🙌🏽
Your content always uplifts one’s spirit..and this episode is one of many
This gentlemen speaks great Spanish, you know this childerens orphanage if you could get the information for donations please Dave, that's the stuff of brotherhood of humanity.
Great stuff. Amazing product & man.
i agree jessie and crew are awesome
And that jade is awesome stuff, don't think I'd want to try to work with it though. I'll stick with the softer nephrite and serpentine material we have in Washington state. Don't need to be going through blades and diamond burrs that quickly.😂
Nice Work Brother's >This Material Looks Very Promising,,,,>
Wow that blue jade is amazing. The matrix looks cool wonder what process they use to darken and stabilize
I don’t think the doing anything to darken the Honduran opal and the stabilization is the same thing they do to stabilize turquoise
@Lapidary Dave cool if it's a tru matrix then im assuming they use a darking method. Andamooka matrix can be untreated but thats crystal. Matrix they use a sugar acid method to darken. Seen others material on line but not as good as his
Coba anda lihat juga Jade dari Aceh Indonesia. Mungkin anda akan tertarik untuk membahasnya...
Do you make bands? I'd love a ring size 8 in the emerald green and the blue.Thank you!
:-) Heaven
I'm interested in a jadeite bracket..How can I find your friend in ebay..send me his link Dave..Thanks
