@adhdboy699 Annotation actually means the comments and analysis of a game or position by someone. Notation refers to the moves made. In the book The Six Power Moves of Chess and check out the video search it here on you tube.
Thats absolutely true...after seeing this way of game I will definitely like to take Fischer side....That was the game of the century while cold war time...and Media was crazy about every single thing related to it...in that Old era..the noise by camera would be worser than this game...Its way difficult to concentrate in such an important game...Fischer took right decision..for sure...:)..
the cameramen are only allowed to take pictures the first 10 minutes of the game, therefore they have to get a good shot in this time - thus the insane amount of camera flashes.
They are not. Look at Topalov's Queen's knight for example. Chess is a game that involves spatial awareness, the pieces must be a standard size, a standard colour and in the proper position. Most tourney players begin by insuring that there pieces are properly place: it's quite normal.
Not so, my friend. While there is some computer-like calculation, there is more subtly in this. Kasparov said himself in many situations he finds it unnecessary to think beyond three moves in advance. Even those calculations would be applied to only a few lines.
@damthatriver09 Educate me. Why should I feel stupid for expecting something other than 4 minutes of Kasparov's face? The title said his last game. I thought there might be something related to the GAME. Remember? Chess? Not 4 minutes of someone's face.
w8..ur an atheist too...sorry dude for all the things i said....i saw ur subscription to pat condell ....dude that's awesome...it's nice to see another atheist...being an atheist certifies u as a being of higher intelligence..so sorry for anything i said that may have offended u.... p.s - this sms language disease is hard to get rid off p.p.s - ATHEISM ROCKS !!!
now I understand why Fisher flipped out. How could you play a game under those conditions.............if you ever played a game over 3 hrs you would know what Im talking about
jealous people always try to find even the tiniest flaws of the other guy...i already told ya not to worry...every dog has its day..yours will come too...BTW tell your mom to have her checkup done ASAP...I am suspecting she might have got pregnant after our last night together
Before his first move I would love to hear what he was thinking. Here it is, the first move of a long career. Wow, thanks for sharing!
oh, that actually makes sense, thank you. i'll be watching out for those too.
i like it when he put the watch on the table at every game

Kasparov is probably thinking about this being his last game. a very emotional time for sure
Chess is a Gadame tough game i respect kasprov for being the best
Student: "Master, what is the most complicated game man has created?"
Master: "Chess."
Student: "What about Go?"
Master: "Go has always existed."
God, I feel stupid. I actually sat here watching Kasparov's face for four minutes. Jesus, Christ, give me a break. We didn't get to see a single move!

3:38 he wants to say: "what i'm doing here? I want go home!"
it's funny, one of the best players ever looks like somebody who can't concentrate

kasparov looks like he about to break in tears.
in the future they will probably hook up sensors to their brains and produce a live display of their thinking processes... imagine that.

I would love to show this to an acting class.
He is placing them in the centre of each square, it's really distracting when a piece is slightly off.
seen enough of kasparovs nostrills, wellaquinted ty vm... how do we actually see the match progress? just curiosity
@adhdboy699
A bit of a chess newbie. What does annotation refer to here?
i think they only captured kasparov's face on video, nothing about the game itself, nor topalov was showed here
why can't the players leave the pieces alone at the start of a game (nerves?) as they usually are set up perfectly
@damthatriver09 Educate me. Why should I feel stupid for expecting something other than 4 minutes of Kasparov's face? The title said his last game. I thought there might be something related to the GAME. Remember? Chess? Not 4 minutes of someone's face.
So what notes are they taking? And why, oh why, was there no chess shown?

So what if you decide to play pieces that arent exactly on the center as you play them? Sure would be a psychological advantage hehe
Bobby Fischer POWERS!!
kasparov had too many things on his mind during the game, which is probably why he lost. anyway he won the title
gosh! no wonder chess is so unpopular these days.
OMG... how can Kasparov play with a camara in his face, a lot of flashes, people walking, talking around them... that looks so uncomfortable !.
u r a genius.where did u dig out this info?i think i have one comment.WUHAHAHAHAHAHA, and a little one -- hahaha.
now I understand why Fisher flipped out. How could you play a game under those conditions.............if you ever played a game over 3 hrs you would know what Im talking about
hi
Losing sucks! Tell me all about it.
just make sure no missing on chess piece, from Grand Master Indonesia.
why are they toching all their pieces first?
why are they touching every chess piece before the game starts?
wow three and half hours to move a pawn.
slowly zoom in, slowly zoom out...that's all this video is.
they were in the center.. these guys have some nervous problems hehe
who won
Topalov touching his beloved bishops before game :)
wait, so kasparov like retired??
i bet u can
what is wrong with all the cameramen at chess matches. I can't see where they're moving!!! I don't care what their facial expressions are!!!
looks a little bit like Royce Gracie...idk
lol , i love chess.
lmfao
lmao at the comments
